So my horse had to wear a boot on his foot and the vet told me to get some socks to keep it from chafing. The first set I got were tight, hard to put on, and tore up quickly. These bad boys? Lasted for days at a time and I even washed and dried them and could use them again! They were realllly stretchy BUT they stayed up well. Which was great, because he can't pull them up himself and can you imagine how annoying that would be for him if they didn't stay up well? So, highly recommended. If a horse can't tear them up easily, I think they'll do well for a person. Also, they were nice and padded.

If you men with big or long feet are tired of having to stretch your socks over your feet just to get them on, these socks are for you. My feet have gone from a 12, to a 13+ in recent years. I like these socks because they have plenty of length. They are perhaps a little wide for my AA heel and C forefoot, but it's the ample length that I like. They're durable, too. although not as heavy as some sports socks. They've been my choice for several years.

About the third set of 12 I have purchased. They fit ok but they don't last too long 1 year and the heels start getting holes in them. I do have to say 95% of their wear is inside on carpeted floors no shoes. I don't know if this is harder on them than wearing shoes or not. Wash them alone or wit very dark clothes 3 or 4 times unless you want everything else black. After that it's ok. They do not shrink very much so thats a plus. 6-12 size means my size 10 feet have to stretch them out some. After 3 or 4 wearings they settle down to my size and are comfortable.

Comfy and supportive

Got these for my boyfriend who is always overheating but insists on wearing shoes and socks even in the summertime. He absolutely loves them and is replacing all his socks with these. He says they actually do work to keep his feet cool and dry. They are very comfortable and have a nice thickness to them. Great socks. Decent price from this vendor compared with others.

Item was exactly as described, without manufacturer packaging. Arrived in a clear plastic bag and a printed label. But are Hanes X-Temp branded on the bottom of the toe as they should be, and feel correct.

I know blue collar wives will appreciate this review. My husband works outside, on his feet 10 hours a day, 6 days a week and these 12 pair of socks lasts him a YEAR. I buy him new socks once a year now that he uses this brand . They are very durable. He loves these socks, they are comfy and soft. They are thicker socks so they are probably a bit hotter than some socks.
