didn't know if could use old cordless phone headset w. Iphone?
I had 2 old cordless house phone Panasonic headsets with swing down mics that I used with my Panasonic cordless house phones. Well, finally, got rid of my old landline, but wanted to have the convenience of a regular phone headset to use with my I phone 11, when I have to wait a 1/2 hours in the kiosk before someone picks up. So I got this adapter to connect my 2.5mm plug from the headset to a 3.5 male plug, and then connected it to my I phone 11 with an official Apple 2.5mm female to lightning adapter. ( About $8 on Amazon) Well , it works fine, mic and all. P.S.- you need to push the connectors together till they click.)

Works Perfectly
I have a PA system in my truck and recently had to order a new PTT mic because the old one stopped working, the replacement PTT mic I ordered did not work with my PA system because the jack adapter (plug) was much smaller than the port on the PA system. The PTT mic jack adapter was a 2.5 mm and the port on the PA system is a 3.5 mm port.Luckily I found this M to F audio adapter and it worked like a charm! I have not noticed a difference in audio quality.Currently it's priced around $7 for a 2 pack which I personally believe it's a great price.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

Well made. Make sure you are getting the right connector!
This adapter appears well made, just be sure it is the right configuration if you are buying one. This is a TRRS or 4-conductor plug and it turns out I need a TRS or 3 conductor plug. The type mismatch means I don’t get sound on the right channel. My fault for ordering the wrong thing. The 2.5mm male plug fits well into the jack on my Olympus Pearlcorder (small tape recorder), and my 3.5mm plugs fit well in the 3.5mm jack on the adapter. So, long story short, this product is fine. I was a poor consumer and ordered the wrong thing.

Connects perfectly with no noticeable loss in audio quality
The title says it all. This adapter connects perfectly with no noticeable loss in audio quality. You may think you don't need two, but if you have headphones that require the 2.5mm connection, you never know when the need might arise and it's nice to have an extra rather than disconnecting one adapter from one 3.5 cable so it can be attached to another. Besides, it's just good to have a spare. The fit on this adapter is good and tight. So, make sure you feel that little click/snap when you're connecting your 3.5mm cable. Zero worries about it being loose and falling out.

Good quality adapter to connect 3.5mm unbalanced earphones to 2.5mm balanced port
I was curious to connect my SIMGOT EW200 earphones to the balanced port of my SURFANS F28 audio player and got this NETVIP headphone adapter. It worked out pretty well and the adapter provides a stable and good quality connection. This connection has the same sound quality and audio volume as via the 3.5mm unbalanced port so I don't get the higher volume and better channel separation of the 2.5mm balanced port. This adapter should do that with the 3.5mm balanced headphones though but I don't have any such headphones available to test.

Works just fine!
If you have a 3.5mm jack that needs to fit into a 2.5mm space, this is the thing you need. Very uncomplicated stuff here. It works just like it should!

Adapter
It is nice good material. It gives you two adapters. I tried using for this earpiece because I wanted to replace the adapter I had. It didnt work like I expected but it did the job of adapting the plug

Quality, durable components
These are simple little adapters. Sturdy and well built, metallic casing. No obvious plastic or rubber parts. Works as intended.

They are well built, work as they should, and are multipurpose
There are two complementary versions of this adapter. I have the type that converts a 3.5 mm plug to a 2.5 mm plug (the other kind does the opposite). The adapter accepts a 3.5 mm (sometimes known as 1/8-inch) diameter "headphone" plug of the sort that have existed since the 1980s or so. Such plugs have also been commonly used as an audio "line in" or "line out" for computers and speakers as well as home-based and car-based stereo systems. Over the last decade or so, as devices and their internal components have gotten smaller, 3.5 mm audio jacks have been increasingly replaced with smaller 2.5 mm jacks that perform the same functions but more compactly. These days, even 2.5 mm audio jacks are being phased out by audio-over-USB-C -- but that's a different matter! An adapter like this one allows you to continue using your existing, older style 3.5 mm cables with newer style devices with 2.5 mm jacks.Whether an audio cable's ends have 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm plugs, both kinds work the same way and come in three different kinds. A monaural audio or "mono" cable's plugs have only two segments each, known as a "tip" and a "shield" (so they're also known as "TS" cables). The more common, "stereo" audio cable has three segments per plug ("tip", "ring", and "shield") so it's also known as a "TRS" cable. Finally, a third type of cable has four segments per plug and is known as a "TRRS" cable (the additional "ring" segment allows the cable to carry input from a microphone alongside stereo audio).I've mentioned those things because this adapter can convert a 3.5 mm mono (TR) audio or a 3.5 mm stereo (TRS) plug into a 2.5 mm plug of effectively the same type. I've confirmed that by testing it with a multimeter. Here's what happens. When a 3.5 mm mono (TR) plug is attached, (a) its T gets connected to the 2.5 mm plug's T and (b) the 3.5 plug's S gets connected to the 2.5 mm plugs first R, second R, and S.Likewise, when a 3.5 mm stereo (TRS) plug is attached, (a) its T and gets connected to the 2.5 mm plug's T, (b) the 3.5 mm plug's R gets connected to the 2.5 mm plug's first R, and (c) the 3.5 mm plug's S gets connected to the 2.5 mm plug's second R and S.Since I didn't have a 3.5 mm TRRS cable handy, I was unable to confirm that each of its four segments would connect to their corresponding segments on the 2.5 mm plug (but I suspect that they would do so).So, the adapter really does convert at least two types of 3.5 mm plugs (TS mono and TRS stereo) to 2.5 mm (and might convert a 3.5 mm TRRS plug as well). So, these very compact adapters not only extend the life of your existing 3.5 mm cables but also mean you only need one type of adapter not two (or possibly three). The other remarkable thing about these adapters is their excellent build quality. Their 3.5 mm jacks and 2.5 mm plugs are gold plated for better electrical conductivity (i.e., better analogue audio quality). Their all-metal construction means that they should stand up to a moderate amount of abuse and should last longer than other adapters with plastic housings.Overall, though they don't look like much, there's much more to these adapters than meets the eye. They're well built, will extend the lives of your existing 3.5 mm cables, are able to convert two (or possibly three) types of 3.5 mm plugs to 2.5 mm, and are very compact. At their current price of $10.99 for two adapters, they're a great value. I'm very pleased with mine.

Nice little adapters
This adapter is very nice! It's nicely built with its glossy metallic finish. It's also very light and compact. For the functionality, it appears to work great. I ordered this to convert my Sennheiser's HD 458BT from 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack, but it doesn't actually fit in the hole. But that's not the adapter's fault, the headphones have a weird locking mechanism with the included cable. I was able to deconstruct the adapter to make it work, and it did, but it wasn't really in a usable form.Overall, this adapter is good, very well made, and it functions great! Would recommend!

Quality Product
I needed the small 2.5 mm male adapter to connect to my Bose headphones. These are very slim and are an all metal construction. I didn't encounter any static or unwanted noise when using this adapter. The female end is the standard 3.5 mm audio jack. The package of two makes this product a good buy. Very satisfied and is a recommended purchase.
