Got these for "just in case" there is a nuclear war somewhere in the world or a nuclear reactor somehow releases its contents. The pills are taken to prevent radioactive iodine present in the environment from being taken up by the thyroid. If taken properly when needed, this would greatly reduce the probability of long-term damage from radioactive iodine (like thyroid cancer). Convenient size for swallowing. Highly recommend. Quickly shipped and as described.

These potassiumide pills are something that every family should have on hand for emergency preparedness. If there is a chance being exposed to radiation, these are a must to have. You can't wait until something happens and then buy them because they'll all be gone, so get some now. These are freakin cheap and it never hurts to have in one hand I don't think they really go bad unless you open them and they get wet. They didn't have any in Chernobyl. When the reactor blew up and everybody died, that was exposed and didn't have any of these.
