When I purchased them I thought these were standard automotive wire rolls made of pure copper but in fact they are just copper cladded over aluminum wires. I just assumed it would be pure copper wire which is way better for anything automotive related. Copper cladded aluminum will cause galvanic corrosion if used for trailer wiring or automotive use where there is potential long term exposure to salt and moisture. This wire while a great dollar value would be best suited to use where no moisture or salt will be present such as speaker wires or anything predominantly used inside the vehicle or home. In all fairness I can't blame anyone but myself as I didn't read the full description before my purchase which clearly states it is CCA or Copper Cladded Aluminum wire rolls. So, my bad for not doing my due diligence and taking the time to read everything before purchase.
