We were going to have to buy a truck because our car had zero extra space for when we went camping. This product saved us a ton of money and space. It held four sleeping bags, four pillows, four stuffed back packs and a few life jackets. All the bulkey stuff that fills up a trunk. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Material is really thick and excellent quality. Also it was really simple to figure out. Rain proof and driving up to speeds as much as 85 and it didn't budge. Well worth it.

This roof bag was packed into a very compact carrying bag that did not take up much space when storing the product. It was fairly easy to set it up and fit a lot of luggage. The luggage stayed clean and dry. I did notice when packing the bag for storage that there were many spots where the bag material had worn through, like other reviewers posted. All that was left was fabric mesh in those areas. I contacted support and they asked for pictures. After I sent them, they shipped a replacement roof bag. I am hoping it holds up better.

We had a easy time putting this on the rooftop of our Acadia and fitting all our luggage in it. We had four suitcases and three duffle bags and two small beach chairs. We traveled several hours and it stayed up in the roof and never moved.

This unit is heavy coated material. We used it on top of our car driving from Southern Calif. to Portland in the rain. Everything stayed dry and the bag NEVER moved. We did have a problem when we stopped to review and check that the bag was still tight and ridding well. That's when we found one of the clips/buckles had broken off. We just tied it to the frame and kept driving down the road, and it never moved. I think because the material was nylon coated with a rubber type material to keep it waterproof. The sale company, MSTROL, after we got back from our trip replaced it N/C in 4 days. So they stand by there product even after the 30 days return policy was over due to our the road trip. That was cool and great customer service. So I would just not tighten down the straps to much from our experience.

This product seems great. I bought it for a rental vehicle on my trip back from living overseas. Unfortunately, our rental was a minivan, and we could not figure out how to make it work. The quality of the item seems great. We take a trip next month, so I will update the review if there are any issues!

I got this roof bag 3 months ago so that I could convert my backseat and trunk into a sleeping setup, and it has a great amount of space, stays dry, and is relatively easy to access once you have it installed. Installation was kind of a pain to be honest but haven’t had an issue with it since. One thing tho is that it doesn’t keep its shape at all so I found it convenient to build a frame out of 2 x 6 wood planks and it’s a lot easier to access from the roof of my fj cruiser.

Bought this for extra storage when moving. It did amazing. Drove from Denver to Boise in early February, average speed of 80mph, the wind speeds were 50+mph most of the drive, weather dropped below 20°F, there was a snow storm the first 500 miles. Bag has 0 signs of wear and tear after all of that. Was very surprised with how it performed. Only issue was one of the buckles broke but that was on my father for pulling wayyy too tight trying to get them tightened

it’s not “formed” like the photo yet works well enough. I wouldn’t suggest heavy suitcases to avoid having a top heavy SUV.Re-check straps after being on highway for about an hour or so.And DONT FORGET ITS UP THERE! you will! I drove underground parking and forgot!! You will too my friend..! ripped it. taped it. and then tied a red ribbon on my mirror to remind myself! haha
