I have two small breed dogs and this product has protected them twice from aggressive off-leash dogs. Once from a charging pitbull and once from a samoyed that ran up from behind us and started biting at them. Both times the offending dog immediately jumped away and started rolling around trying to wipe off the gel.I absolutely adore dogs but I will not hesitate to protect myself and my pets from dogs whose owners can't be bothered to keep them on leash or safely contained within their property.I have it clipped on my belt and in less than two seconds I'm able to deploy it and spray the target, so it's very easy to use. The trigger has a guard that prevents accidental presses. Hats off to Sabre for designing an effective product!

Bought this for a young family member going off to college. (The second one was to replace my own as it was about 10 years old!) Although it is very easy to use, we also bought the practice spray from Amazon. We liked that our young family member was able to watch Sabre's online training videos and use the practice spray and feel comfortable that, if that she had to use this, she was ready and would not be fumbling around. She feels more confident going away from home for the first time and having to walk home from class after dark and we feel reassured, too. What we especially like about this SABRE Crossfire Pepper Gel is that it is maximum strength, easy to use, will spray from any angle and can be deployed against more than one target at a time, if necessary (we pray it is;t but are sending them off prepared, just in case).

Bigger then I thought, compared my old one that's on a keychain. Like a mini hair spray bottle. The thumb safety has to actually be pushed up even with finger in it to go all the way, Idk if need to do that to spray, but if so could be annoying in bad situation.

Quality product. The advertised 20ft range is pretty generous. In my testing the effective range was right around 15ft., which is acceptable. The gel resisted aerosolization well past 10ft, which is great for avoiding blowback. Aiming and operation were very easy. The can held enough spray for four very heavy blasts, probably in the 12-15 second range total, but I did not time it. The can is large enough to fill your hand. It's larger than I'd want to carry in a pocket, but perfect for a bag. The larger size inspires much more confidence than the keychain sizes.I would like to see some type of safety on the sprayer beyond the thumb cover. There's nothing else to keep it from spraying in your bag. You'll want a case for it.

This product is very great and useful as a woman, came on time and handled with care i love it!!
