Detailer's Choice 4B3278 Parts Cleaning Brush

This is the "old school" (I hate that term but you understand what it means) stiff brush that's used with a parts washer to get oily, gritty grunge off of car parts. Very stiff, with dense bristles. It's DEFINITELY not a paint brush.It even has a hole so your can hang it on your own custom-made coathanger hook on your washer's lid or side walls.

Title says it all. First time I used it the bristle section just fell off. The bristles are wrapped in a met al sheath and this sheath is in turn glued to the wooden handle. In no place did the glue adhere to the metal. Obviously a poor designed product.

The brush worked great! It was terrific while it lasted. I was working it a ton and it fell apart. But I really loved the brush while it was working.

This brush is what I use in final oiling, after gun cleaning. The brush makes using 1 maybe 2 drops of oil, depending surfaces and parts being oiled, perfect for final oiling, without leaving unnecessary amounts of oil!

I purchase for the obvious reason...needed to clean some parts.The second I went to use one, the head with the bristles fell right off the wooden handle. Looking inside the ferrule, I can tell it was manufactured poorly and pulled the second out of the package. Same exact thing happened.Do yourself a solid and buy the Lisle 14000 Parts Cleaning Brush. It is what I was looking for in the first place and is a solid piece of kit. You're welcome!

What can you really say it’s a cleaning brush. Value was amazing. Works as it should. Use it on a daily basis.

The main use of parts cleaning brushes is to help clean various machine parts, components, etc. Solvents and degreasers are typically used to clean parts. This brush has synthetic bristles which are very stiff and unable to reach into all areas of part that you are cleaning. Soft natural bristles will flex to access hard to reach areas. And synthetic bristles cannot tolerate some cleaners and solvents.

Just the right size, nice stiff bristles. Hard to find these in hardware stores these days. If I were to be hyper-critical, the bristles could be just a bit longer but I'm still very happy with the purchase.

Bristles comes quite stiff and need to be worked in. Otherwise it was ok. It won't work everywhere because it's a bit large. However, it's nice for general weekend car cleanup. I would buy again, but don't get your hopes too high.
