These bags are the right size for one or two slices of bread. I pack lunch to work. These bags keep my bread fresh, although I still put it in a plastic bag, but by using the paper bags I avoid the contact with the plastic directly.

These are great for packaging smaller sandwiches and a decent snack portion.If the bottom was gusseted they would accommodate a sandwiche made on a standard size bread loaf. I like these way better than a plastic bag but will need a larger size or a bottom gusseted option to better fit sandwiches for the kids lunches.
