Do NOT put the pod adapter inside the basket when first cleaning the pot with vinegar and water upon arrival of your new Black + Decker SS0441-0BD Dual Brew 14 cup. DO wake up the machine by flipping the single brew cup pedestal down and up. I will do a video review later, but this coffee maker IS a keeper. I also recommend not using the provided permanent filter and use a permanent filter that is also perforated on all sides including the bottom. I have a Stainless Steel one I've used for years now. The brewer inside is like a showerhead and wets all the grounds to start with. My old (different brand) coffee maker had one stream just in the middle, ugh. I'd have to open and stir it in the basket. It does not program, it does not have a clock. I have too many kitchen clocks as it is. Programming IS nice, but setting the pot up ahead of time like you would anyway, works just as well. Stopclock said a full pot brewed in 12 1/2 minutes. I have no problem with hot water for single serve pods and the carafe setting also has super hot water. I keep the reservoir full also. NOTE Two Year Warranty, A year longer than most other kitchen appliances.

This seems to be a pretty good coffee maker. I like that I can do both kcups and brew a pot full. It also was much cheaper that any of the Keurig brand. It is a little cumbersome but not bad. The only issue that I have is that iot seems to be pretty slow when brewing a full pot. Update. This product has multiple issues. After brewing, when it does bre, coffee is cold and needs to be warmed in microwave. It does not shut off and will keep on brewing even when the cup or pot overflows. More trouble than it's worth.

Our current coffee maker needed to be filled every time with a separate reservoir for the carafe and cup, making it a bigger machine and a pain especially since we mostly do single cups. This machine shares the reservoir so you can get many single cups before refilling and you just keep the carafe in a cabinet out of the way making a much smaller machine. Nice

It's a pretty high price tag for a coffee maker that is only on or off. You can change cup/craffe size, but that is all. You cannot set it to brew at a specific time-as a matter of fact there is not even a clock. As someone who absolutely needs a programmable coffee pot for work mornings (need to be out the door by 4 am) to pay almost $100 for a basic setup when an off brand would have cost nearly a quarter of the price, I'm beyond disappointed.

Beautiful product but it stopped working after two weeks. No trouble shooting worked

Burner turns off two quickly for my coffee drinking habits. I usually have one cup at 6:30. Another at 8:00 and a third cup around 10:00. That third cup is always cold. I wish the burner would stay warm longer.

Makes great coffee both pods and pot.

All in one, I love this coffee maker
