CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser 16 oz for Daily Face Washing, Dry to Normal Skin

I don't usually review a product unless I am impressed by it and although I've been using this product for less than a week, I could not wait any longer to write a review. This is the first CeraVe product I've used and I LOVE this cleanser! I'm on medication which dries and irritates my skin and my normal Boots Botanicals cleanser was not helping with this at all. I needed a gentler more hydrating cleanser to counteract the dryness and soothe my skin so, after much research I decided to give this a try and its perfect. It cleanses and removes makeup with no effort or rubbing and rinses away easily leaving my skin feeling very hydrated and soothed afterwards with no tightness or stinging. It contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid which are both great for your skin and has an MVE formulation which continues to deliver moisture throughout the day. It's also a reasonable price which always helps. Needless to say, I am very impressed with this cleanser and will be ordering again. My skin thanks you CeraVe!

Great product. Really helped clear my skin up after a few days. The price was brilliant compared to Boots and Superdrug and the delivery from Geraldi Goods was fast and flawless. Would recomend the product and the seller.

Pricewise this is very expensive to get in the UK hence 1 star removed. This Face Wash has been my go-to for years. It is effective and very very gentle on my ultra dry skin. It never leaves my face dry or tight. I use it mostly in the mornings as a wash. I massage it on to my face and leave it whilst I brush my teeth, then wash it off. Afterwards my skin feels refreshed and hydrated. I doubt it would be very effective for removing makeup, for which I use an oil in the evening (Una Brennan Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil ). The Cerave has no scent, does not foam, but is not too thick and sticky. It has a watery creamy consistency that is very easy and fast to wash off. I have also recently found this to be the perfect cream to shave my elderly Dad who was suffering from very dry flaky skin and razor burn. We switched him over to "Phillips One Blade" and use this for a wet shave in the shower. His skin now looks amazing and well nourished. :)

This stuff has literally saved my skin. I was suffering with dry, oversensitive skin that was flaky no matter what I did. Stung. My makeup looked awful on it. I was having bad deep sore acne breakouts that took forever to heal. Hyperpigmentation. Really blotchy and red. I resorted to using E45 rather than my standard moisterizer from acne.org and my skin was not happy about it. Left me stinging and scaly with a huge red itchy sore rash across my cheeks. And I thought enough is enough. So I bought this, im only 2 weeks in. Acne. Gone. Redness. Gone. Itchyness. Gone. Dryness. Gone. My skin hasn't been this smooth since I was a teenager. I now realise that I had been damaging the moisture protective layer of my skin with different cleansers I was using. I think when you have acne you spend so much time looking for new ways to remove oil, remove moisture, that you eventually are just left with skin that can become worse because you have nothing protecting it. The cleanser I wouldnt even say it removes everything. But clearly, thats not what I needed anyway. I use with Cerave moisterizing lotion. And (Touch wood) I think its sorted me out.

Useful and egg

I have never liked washing my face. There, I admit it. I hate having stinging, streaming eyes and skin so tight it could be hit by Ginger Baker with little ill effect (hands up who knows who Ginger Baker is?) Make up removing lotions aren't a lot better as they leave a residue in your eyes and if you use cotton wool it gets tangled around your eyelashes. I saw this on Youtube being recommended by someone of mature years like myself and I really am glad I bought it. It's really good value for a start, but it takes off ALL my make-up. Mascara, everything. No stinging, no blurry eyes, no drumskin-tight skin. Even my skin, which has seen many years' use, is soft and smooth. Like anothee reviewer, I shall be using this for a long time to come.

This was a decent cleanser, I think I'll keep using it. *** Pros *** - After using this even without moisturiser it ends up feeling like your face has been moisturised - This is great for sensitive skin, I've never once had difficulty and sensitivity when using this product - There is a good amount in this, and it goes a long way. *** Cons *** - The last bit of the cleanser is always hard to get out, a lot stays in. Areas to improve: - Find a way to ensure all of the product is able to be used.

Best product for sensitive skin

Seit einiger Zeit verwende ich diese Gesichtsreinigung, und ich muss sagen, dass sie mich ziemlich beeindruckt hat. Hier sind meine Gedanken zu diesem Produkt. Feuchtigkeitsbalance: Der größte Vorteil dieser Gesichtsreinigung ist, dass sie meine Haut im Gegensatz zu den anderen CeraVe Reinigungen nicht austrocknet. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sie sanft reinigt, während sie gleichzeitig die Feuchtigkeitsbalance meiner Haut bewahrt. Das ist ein riesiger Pluspunkt, besonders für jemanden wie mich, der zu trockener Haut neigt. Anwendung: Ich finde, dass einmal Pumpen aus dem Spender völlig ausreicht, um mein Gesicht gründlich einzuseifen. Das Produkt ist somit sehr ergiebig, was bei zweimaliger Anwendung täglich besonders auffällt. Wirkung auf die Haut: Meine Haut, die zu Unreinheiten und Akne neigt, hat sich definitiv verbessert, seit ich diese Gesichtsreinigung benutze. Obwohl es, wie bei den meisten Hautpflegeprodukten, kein Wundermittel ist und einige es vielleicht überhöhen, sind die positiven Veränderungen meiner Haut nicht zu leugnen. Versand: Auch der Versand war einwandfrei – schnell und unkompliziert zur Packstation. Wie gewohnt ein reibungsloser Service. Fazit: Trotz der realistischen Erwartungshaltung, die man bei Hautpflegeprodukten haben sollte, bin ich von der "CeraVe Feuchtigkeitsspendenden Gesichtsreinigung" wirklich angetan. Die Vorteile wie die Feuchtigkeitsbewahrung, die Ergiebigkeit und die Verbesserung meines Hautbildes überwiegen klar. Ich werde dieses Produkt definitiv nachkaufen, sobald meine aktuelle Flasche leer ist. Für alle, die eine zuverlässige, sanfte und effektive Gesichtsreinigung suchen, kann ich dieses Produkt wärmstens empfehlen.
