Does reduce EMF Emissions
Great fabric! Keeps out cold and if you live near a tower claiming to be a telecommunications tower it does reduce EMF. I purchased enough to put up 6 layers on every window and door to reduce EMF emissions.

Better than the name brand
I also bought the name brand fabric with the initials MD. The name fabric feels more like fabric and doesn't have as many stray fibers when cut, which may make it better for sewing, but this fabric did a better job blocking signals. In my unscientific testing (calling a cell phone that's inside the fabric from one outside of it, playing music over WiFi, and playing music to a Bluetooth speaker and placing the speaker inside the fabric) this fabric needed two layers rather than four of the name brand fabric to block cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth signals from very close by (less than a foot away). I did need a layer of non-conductive material between the devices and this fabric and of course there can be no holes or gaps anywhere (the fabric needs to be fully and completely sealed to be effective). But it made a beautiful liner for my faraday cage along with some faraday tape and a gasket for the opening. Very happy to find fabric that is not only much cheaper and better for my purposes at the same time.

Good product, ridiculously silly ad
Aside from the completely laughable advertising copy, this material has a few good uses. 1) Small bits of it can be used to repair worn-out conductive rubber pads in remote controls. 2) It is conductive on both sides and measures very low resistance with an ohmmeter. 3) I bought this for a ham-radio "magic carpet" portable antenna grounding scheme. I added some tarp rivets in the corners for hold-downs. This package version also comes with some rather useful sticky Velcro pads. Want a good laugh? Read the advertisement. 1- Wrap your monitor up with it to reduce EMI....... so you can't see the screen???? 2- Wrap your cell phone to reduce radiated RF into your head....... so the phone's antenna stops working and drops the call??? 3- Wrap up your WiFi router....... to reduce it's range????? 4- Wrap up your laptop for EMP protection...... who's Internet provider is going to work after the big bang???? 5- Wrap up your desktop computer....... so it overheats and fries????? 6- Wrap up your Echo...... yep it may disconnect, but it won't mute its microphone, if you care. 7- OK you can make a decorative curtain out of it. Its nice and shiny. But there's cheaper alternatives. The only one that makes any sense is a wallet wrapper. This might actually prevent card probing.

Good For Use With Portable Antennas!
These are used a variety of ways but I use mine in one, particular, way...as a ground cloth counterpoise in conjunction with my radio antenna. It's what some amateur radio operators refer to as a "magic carpet." The only negative feature is that the cloth is fraying. But, this wouldn't be a problem when used more conventionally as noted in the product description. I could easily remedy this with some duct tape placed around the edge. I recently bought another.

I will say. " Misleading"
I was not able to get as high of a yield as they indicated on site. I folded it many times and still was not able to get that yield. I would not expect this item to do much as draped over you.

It works!
I wasn't sure about this fabric, but it works. It's best if it's a double layer. When I opened the package it seemed almost paper like, it's sort of like a thin taffeta. I didn't have a needle and thread on hand, but made a little phone sleeve with the tape and velcro that came in the package. When in the pouch my phone has no wifi and no cell signal. However the alarm still works. I put my phone on airplane at night, but this is just an additional step to mitigate these frequencies when I'm sleeping. There's a new build 3 unit condo across from my bedroom with smart meters facing me. I'm thinking of buying more of this fabric to attach to my bedroom curtains. In this increasingly toxic world it's important to protect yourself. I'm going to buy a small sewing machine and attempt to make some ponchos put of this. Hey I might look crazy, but if it helps on my commute passing all those 5G towers then I'm all for it. I'm also going to line my fanny pack with this and line the pocket of my purse where I keep my phone. If it's not doubled you'll still get the signal, but it will mitigate the effect that the phone has to the body.

Made a rudimentary tent over my bed and grounded the material. I used a fitted earthing sheet over my mattress also grounded. Ran a ventilation pipe with a small usb fan on the side for fresh air. My meter reading was 105 in my bedroom and dropped to 6.5 inside my little tent. 95% reduction in EMF. Needless to say I was very impressed. I am sleeping better now. This material is very effective if used properly and is certainly worth every penny I paid for it.

Seems to work. Decent price

My son was suffering effects of increased EMF after smart meters were installed by the utility company. Immediate relief after using this as a blanket over top and was able to fall asleep. We tested it with our phones, wrapping a phone in the cloth and signal was not able to penetrate the cloth.
