Well my friend had a take on Aromatherapy and massage where they said " Heck it smells good and I feel refreshed from the manipulation of muscles and tissue so it must be good!" They were probably correct overall. Clearly this book tells it well. The introduction of the timeline associated with using oils and such for the body and coupled with appropriate massage learned over centuries really establishes the depth of knowledge associated with today's applications. This book is incredibly good. It is for the more advanced participant (there was an earlier edition more towards the complete novice). Here the theory becomes practice and the outcomes are your answer to value. Like a cookbook, until you have tried the recipes you do not have judgement over the writing. With this book it is pretty much the same. Get into it and explore the options and overcome the unknown challenges easily. An easy read. A valuable tool. I recommend it.

Packed with information
This book is loaded with information and knowledge about essential oils and their use. It can seem a little much at first, especially if you aren't familiar with the subject matter like I was not. Luckily, the author knows how to present that information so it is actually easy to follow and understand.My favorite parts are about stress relief and mindfulness and the role essential oils can play in that context. I'm really into mindfulness at the moment and it was really cool to learn how I can enrich that experience even more.Anyone who is interested in essential oils should give this book a chance, there is enough material to find something that is helpful, you'd be surprised.

It’s important to keep in mind safety precautions while dealing with or administering essential oils. The book also includes important passages in reference to carrier oils and choosing the right carrier oil to be mixed with the essential oil of choice.Massage techniques that are included in this book are for stress relief, pain relief, treating chronic illnesses, meditation, headaches and improving circulation.When certain massage techniques are implemented whether it be the Swedish massage or others of choice, adding essential oils is a positive addition to those techniques, when implemented in a safe and professional manner.

There is no doubt that Essential oils are great alternatives to many chemical-laden home products out there, and most have therapeutic benefits as well. Over time, I’ve become more confident in blending essential oils myself as a result of learning how to do it and practicing. I will share my secret, and that is this book. It cannot help you with the practicing, but it can help you with learning how to do it. Not only will blending essential oils yourself save you money, but it will boost your confidence and help you learn how to use them effectively within your family! This book has the steps that will make this an easy process for you when you decide to try it on your own!

My husband and I bought this book to learn to do massage for each other. I am new with massage and essential oils and it has helped me alot.The author is very knowledgeable and it's amazing how many uses and benefits different oils can have. The journey begins with the history of these oils then to understanding of how to use, what is carrier oil, how to use oils for diffusing and blending , how to apply and then to uses of essential oils for healing and massage.Great guide, very well done and good for beginners and intermediates like me. I was very pleased with this book!

A great read on massage and aromatherapy - I recommend it!
Really practical and helpful read. Contains some great information about essential oils and massage. I enjoyed how it outlined the basics, and also went into health benefits and techniques in such a clear way. The detail and structure is great, from the chemical breakdown of the oils to the explanation of why and how they work for stress relief etc when applied. Some fantastic benefits of massage with essential oils, through combining massage and aromatherapy, are explained and broken down... Some pretty amazing stuff!! Definitely worth the buy if you're interested in this area - I recommend this book.

So Much Useful Information About Essential Oils and Massage!
When I started reading this book, I did not know much about essential oils or massage techniques. When I was finished reading it, I felt like I had gained a lot of knowledge about the subject. Reading this book will make you want to go buy some essential oils so you can use them to make yourself and others feel better!From a writing standpoint, this book is written in a technical way, but it has so much useful information that it keeps the reader interested. If you have any interest in learning more about essential oils, this is the book for you!
