This alarm kit comes in a branded cardboard which is shrink wrapped in plastic so you know that it hasn’t been opened before. The four-piece kit contains a gateway central hub, a human detection sensor, an open / close sensor and a smart button but if you want a camera to monitor as part of the setup this will need to be purchased separately. Personally, I feel without this important piece of surveillance kit you will be left in the dark about what is happening in your house in terms of a security breach. The system is setup up through the gateway device which acts as the central hub with which all your devices will communicate – this can be connected wirelessly or with an ethernet cable and can support up to 64 different sensors / devices! It is relatively small and discreet and there is a range of alarm sounds that can be activated. Through the EZVIZ app in combination with the gateway hub you can connect remotely to the devices, which allows you to receive instant notifications if any of the sensors detect activity. You can also arm and disarm the system and set timers to a particular time schedule. The app is fairly easy to navigate and the alerts have been working well so far. The kit also comes with a PIR motion sensor which is adjustable so you can direct it to monitor a certain area of the room (for example a door) and it has automatic human motion detection which filters out the movement detected from pets and sends an alert straight to your phone. This is similar for the open / close sensor which will trigger a notification if the window / door that the sensor is installed onto is opened. Installation of the PIR motion and open / close sensors are easy by implementing the peel and stick system (so no drilling required) and each has a battery life of 2 years. Finally, the last piece of kit is a smart button which can switch on and off the entire system as you leave the house or alternatively it can be used as an emergency alert button – this has a battery life of 1 year. Priced at £149.99 (with an additional £40 off voucher valid until the 14th May 2023) at the time of reviewing this kit does represent good value considering it will cost much more to purchase the items separately, but I personally wouldn’t suggest buying this setup without a camera too if you buying it for security reasons, otherwise you will have no idea what is going on in your home if an alert is triggered unexpectedly.

I’m a big EZVIZ fan, and happy with the many cameras and even the EZVIZ cordless floor mop that I have, but I cannot recommend this particular alarm product - 1/ The internal gateway/alarm unit is tiny, with a really feeble volume level. 2/ There is apparently, no way presently, to tie in a proper external alarm box or additional, more robust internal alarms. 3/ I’m not sure the tiny gateway unit will have sufficient wi-fi range for a larger property to connect to the sensors - and a signal repeater does not presently seem to be available. 4/ The price of all the range of additional sensors is very prohibitive to expand the system. 5/ I am very familiar with setting up EZVIZ units, but struggled with all the items to get them connected. 6/ The portable control button, or puck, has no clear instructions on how to operate the different functions - and so, although connected, it is sitting on a shelf unused. I’m resigned to just using the product to cover one door and room with the gateway/alarm in the hall nearby. All told, a poorly developed, overpriced novelty product and not recommended under any circumstances.

No doubt this is a good set, with an agreeable battery life, but, it has its limitations. Had this been the early 2000s then yes, it would still be quite revolutionary as the technology would be very much in its infancy. Wifi connectivity, reliable battery life with no need for mains connection, easy DIY solution to home security without hefty fees from electricians and security experts, a fully comprehensive kit with the possibility of adding extra units depending on personal needs. However, this set as it is, is already quite dated compared to what is available from Amazon at a fraction of the rrp of this one. The issues I have: Blink is a fully functional home security system with a two year battery life which offers livenfootage of your home from.anywhere in the world. I have had a unit just like this protecting our home for a few years. The problem arises when you're out of the country and you receive an alert to your app signifying that the alarm system has been triggered. Witout having "eyes" in the alert zone, you are left in a panic and desperate to get someone to your home to check for you. This adds a painstaking hindrance to the dynamics of this type of system which could be easily alleviated by home security brands such as Ring, Eufy, Blink et al. which offer live footage of before, during and after, a trigger. These, more modern brands also allow two-way communication, ability to record feeds onto the Cloud or locally, in your home. I'm also able to change the sensitivity, the trigger zone, the alert type, the camera angle and many other features. All at a fraction of the price. Would I recommend this set? If you're a frequent traveller and really need that level of security, then I would avoid this type and get a unit that offers a camera plus all the extra controls at a fraction of the price, as mentioned above. 3 stars

Expensive alarm kit. No high siren .

Ho da poco installato il Kit Sensori Wireless EZVIZ e devo dire che sono davvero soddisfatto! Questo kit offre un’ottima soluzione per chi cerca un sistema di sicurezza domestica efficace e facile da configurare. Con 4 sensori, un hub e l’allarme integrato, è possibile monitorare porte e finestre senza fili, garantendo una protezione completa per la casa. L’installazione è stata una passeggiata, grazie all’app EZVIZ che ti guida passo dopo passo. Il sistema si connette velocemente e, una volta configurato, ricevo notifiche in tempo reale direttamente sul mio smartphone ogni volta che un sensore rileva movimento o apertura. Un aspetto che apprezzo moltissimo è la possibilità di personalizzare le notifiche in base alle mie preferenze, così posso decidere quando essere avvisato e in che modo. Inoltre, l’allarme è davvero forte e chiaro, quindi puoi stare tranquillo anche quando sei lontano da casa. Il design del kit è discreto, con un hub compatto che si integra facilmente nell’ambiente, e i sensori sono abbastanza piccoli da non attirare troppo l’attenzione, ma comunque molto sensibili. Il fatto che sia wireless lo rende anche più comodo da installare ovunque, senza dover fare lavori complessi di cablaggio. Se cerchi una soluzione di sicurezza domestica che sia efficace, economica e facile da usare, il Kit EZVIZ è sicuramente un’ottima scelta!

[wouldn't work without the gate] ; The sensor was attached to the gate quite simply and quickly... No complaints about the functioning, quick response and history collection... I'm just not sure about the Celsius value in the history part > because I see, say, 10 degrees in Celsius, and the history shows 13.5 according to the time stamp, etc.... well, I didn't try to reload it or just test it in various ways > because I didn't leave it at home, but in the garage... what matters to me is the humidity reading, not the time and Celsius ratio [I'll go into more detail when I have it at hand]

Io lo reputo un ottimo acquisto. Da premettere che sono già 4 anni che ho scelto di affidarmi ad Ezviz per la sicurezza di casa con alcune telecamere. Ora ho scelto di portare il tutto ad un livello superiore con questo kit e anche con altri acquisti, vorrei avere meno app possibili per la mia smart home e ho visto che Ezviz mi permetterà di eliminare moltre alte cose tipo Netatmo ecc. La qualità dei comportamenti sembra davvero ottima, la parte software è veramente valida, sicuramente molto di più di altre concorrenti. E poi con qualche piccola aggiunta si và veramente ad avere un buon sistema di protezione.
