Roller blade wheels were recommended by our floor installer for my office chair as he indicated they will not damage the floor. I purchased them immediately. They were easy to install myself. Very sturdy with smooth gliding and quiet operation. I loved them so much that my husband wanted them for his office chair so we ordered a second set. I would definitely recommend these for anyone that has the old style wheels on their chairs. Definitely 5 stars!

PURPOSE:To replace your frustration with cheap, disappointing, floor damaging, poor-quality, squeaky office chair wheels with a good experience of a well-built, satisfying, safe for floors, good quality, quiet product that is quick and easy to install and use and will last a long time. Well, I found it!BACKGROUND:I have an older typical office chair I was using for a long time when recently one of the plastic wheels broke! Of course, it had to be when I was going to sit in it and nearly tipped over and fell! Good thing it was me and not one of my cats who was traumatized, right? I knew it might happen but didn't know what to do about it. So I researched wheel replacements (and there are SO many) for office/gaming chairs and read the product reviews to determine that the “Office Chair Wheels Replacement [with] Rollerblade Style [caster wheels]” was the right choice for me.WHO IS IT (BEST) FOR?• Anyone who wants/needs to replace their broken, cracked, defective, or noisy wheels on their office/gaming chair• Anyone who has a larger body frame and needs the wheels to be able to support their weight• Anyone who likes quick and easy installation with no tools required• Anyone who appreciates a “lifetime promise” warranty that never expiresWHAT’S THE DEAL: WHAT AM I GETTING? WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT IT?• The box contained the 5 wheels, a post-card size “Installation” and “Lifetime Product Warranty” card with a history of the company and its founders, along with a hand-written note of thanks for your business. I thought that was a very nice and personalized touch!• They look good and study with their roller-blade-styling• They seem to be high-quality and well-made• They are mostly a universal size with standard stem that should fit any chair• They were SO easy to install: pull out the old wheels, push to click in these new ones (with a little force)• Once installed, the chair felt fine and was actually raised up a little and could move smoothly without catching on the floor matWHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?• You get better wheels than your current, probably plastic, cheap, low-quality materials set• You have comfort in having study, smooth-rolling wheels that fit almost every chair• They’re safe for all floor types so it won’t scratch or leave marks• Are you big(ger)? Well, they support up to 650 pounds!• They’re easy to install and don’t require tools (other than your hands)• They come with a lifetime warranty that doesn’t expireTECHNICAL SPECS:• Color: Black• Count: Five (5)• Weight: 2.6 pounds• Material: Polyurethane• Stem: Height = 7/8” (22mm), Width = 7/16” (11mm)• Wheel: Height = 3” (7.5cm), Width = 3” (7.5cm)(These are an approximation as I had to measure them myself with a ruler.)WHAT ARE THE CONS (Tell me the bad stuff too!):• Instability: Some, but VERY little. Although the wheels may be tall and narrow, any instability with the chair is usually caused by the chair design and the position of the user and their weight distribution.• Positioning: You should not need to to get off the chair and move it to the desired position, but may occasionally need to based on the weight applied to the chair. They don’t glide well across standard medium-to-high pile carpet.• Getting stuck: ...in a rut might occur, but just like anything heavy sitting in one spot for a long time, depressions (deep grooves) will form where the wheels are, and that's unavoidable.• Movement: If you're like me and have the usual house carpet, you will need a chair floor pad (plastic carpet protector) to move more smoothly than on regular carpet. Just know that the floor pad TOO will develop depressions. It's weight, gravity, and physics. You can't win. :(SUMMARY & CONCLUSION:It was a good decision and purchase for me. I didn’t much like my old plastic wheels and can’t imagine why they would even be designed for office/gaming chair use when the stress and weight from the chair can easily crack them. I liked the background story they included on the card, and the personal, hand-written thank you was a very nice touch.They look good, they work well, they’re sturdy, and they do the job. Knowing that the company gives you a non-expiring lifetime promise warranty eases my mind because as they say: “If you EVER have any issues with your chair wheels, we’ll send you a brand new set.” I’m not sure any other wheel manufacturer can say that and stand behind it. This company cares about their product and the person who’s going to be using it.

I had finally gotten fully fed up with those little inadequate standard casters on my office chair. They'd keep getting hung up on the corner of the chair pad, or wouldn't rotate properly thus making it difficult to get my chair to move in the direction I wanted it to go. These things absolutely and instantly solved the problem. The chair moves in whatever direction I nudge it. I rolls over stuff rather than getting hung up on it. The wheels aren't just hard plastic like the standard ones are - instead the have a bit of give. Makes it so I don't have to fight my chair constantly when I get up or sit back down. They were really easy to install - just pull the old ones out and push the new ones in. Well worth the money. And, one day if I end up replacing the old chair, I'll just replace the wheels on the new chair with these right at the start.

These replacement wheels are excellent! Great quality and a quick install. They roll easily and quietly over my hardwood floors and rugs. Great buy!

This is the second product review I've written; with life being short and time being limited, I prefer to acknowledge companies whose products resonate deeply with me. (Think chair wheels are ho-hum? My last review was for a motorcycle stand!)Bottom line: Meredith and Kevin (they introduced themselves by name in a handwritten card inserted into the box) have, through their family-run business, put office chair wheels into the world that embody the principle, dear to Steve Jobs and Jony Ive, that beautiful form and fantastic function go hand-in-hand. Like many people, I've been quietly irritated for years by standard office chair wheels that are made of plastic, that don't work smoothly, and that create deadly cracks in $50+ chair mats over time, necessitating an ongoing investment in an item that doesn't seem by its nature to be disposable. Ugh.First, the packaging. I can't tell you how many Apple boxes I've saved over the years - because, if you asked me, I might need to send their inhabitants out for service, but really because I couldn't bring myself to part with such attractive, thoughtfully designed, and well-made containers. The Office Oasis's wheels came in the perfect box. Nice to look at, yes, but compelling in its expression of the company's values - "Wheels So Smooth Your Floors Will Thank You" (I'm gifting my relatively new chair mat to a colleague who hasn't yet replaced her chair wheels), "Oasis Guarantee: Return anything, anytime, for any reason" (LL Bean comes to mind), and "Text us at ***-***-**** (seriously, text us). We usually respond within a few hours". And each wheel cradled vertically in a secure, dedicated slot, like a regiment standing at attention. Wow!!!And the wheels. Magnificent. Familiar bombproof rollerblade-style hard rubber with a curved profile that, like motorcycle wheels, reduces friction. (I may just bring my chair out to the long, low-pile carpet-covered hallway of my office for speed trials. I suspect it'll haul.) And similarly bombproof black metal brackets that'll outlive the wheels and the chair itself, and that look great with the black and brushed aluminum of my new mesh office chair. (Although the company makes the wheels in a dizzying variety of colors and I considered getting them in my favorite red, I thought it better to go with black. At 57 yr, red doesn't work for me like it used to.)Thank you, Meredith and Kevin, for not only a great product but also for a wonderful *experience*. My encounter with your company and your office chair wheels has given me an oasis of joy (no wonder, given the name of your company) in a busy day that, like so many, presents pressures to reduce cost by making quality-threatening changes. Although your product isn't the least costly, I anticipate that, like my chair, it'll get me across the finish line of my career with ease and satisfaction. And for that I'm most grateful. 🙏
