Great product, easy set up, and decently priced. Make sure you buy extra ribbon because you will become a label making fool when it arrives!

The product itself is very easy to install and use. My 13-year-old did it in just a few minutes. Very quick & very useful.

Not sure I have same model But be aware the one I just got was not PnP with Windows 10 so if your 13 year old or you are familiar with doing downloads of drivers be prepared t need a little help. Also after use it automatically becomes the default printer unless you go to printers and scanners and make the change. Other than it works very well and hence the four stars.

I thought that this would print larger labels. It does work for reorganizing file cabinets, drawers, etc...

I've been trying to get this unit to work all day. No luck.I tried the updated software from Dymo. Still nothing.The printer powers up and is recognized by the system, but trying to print anything results in an error message telling me that the battery needs to be charged before anything can be printed. At the same time, the software is showing me the state of the battery as empty and *not* charging. It doesn't matter which USB port I plug it into.

Too many hoops to jump through each time I wanted to use it. Needed to hold a default setting instead of setting it up each time. Battery died during usage and rendered this thing useless.

RIP OFF!! Worked for 6 months then battery died. Replacement battery costs more than a whole new labelmaker that comes with a battery! DYMO is aware of this problem and has no intention of offering a solution.

Semplice da utilizzare.Nessun sw necessario.E' sufficiente collegarla alla porta usb del PC e in un attimo e' pronta. Per piccole etichettature e' perfetta anche perche' si scrive sul pc/notebook e non su pulsanti piccoli come su altre etichettatrici.Accetta anche il copia / incolla. 5 Stelle senza dubbi

Sencilla instalación, ojo si vas a instalarla en un MAC nueva generación, da problemas de instalación con el sistema operativo Big Sur...yo lo tuve que instalar en otro ordenador con un sistema operativo mas antiguo.

I would be happy to present the box as a gift.*** HOW IT WORKS ***Open the side panel of the unit and insert the cartridge onto the spoke. Connect the USB cable to the back of the unit, plug the USB end into your computer/laptop, install the software on the disk, and from there you can start designing your labels. Once you have designed our label -- in which you can choose from a range of fonts, styles, and images -- click 'Pint' in the software and the label will print. Once printed, on the top of the unit there is a big silver button with some scissors embossed on it. Push down hard on this button to cut the label to size. Pull the label, peel off the sticky backing, and voila! You now have a label that you can stick to (nearly) anything!*** DURABILITY ***The unit is made of hard plastic and is very sturdy. It has fallen off my desk a few times and continues to work with any problems. The internal mechanics are easily viewable by removing the side panel, and they all seem pretty solid. The cable is just the right length for sitting on a desk next to a computer/laptop, but it is too short to have under the desk. If you use the DYMO cartridges, the label tapes are well-designed and last a long time.*** EASE OF USE ***You don't have to use the software pre-installed on the CD-ROM, you can just plug and play. However, without installing the software, you don't have access to some of the best features (i.e. horizontal letter printing) and access to only select fonts. But this does mean you can share the unit with family and friends without them having to install new software. If you are a frequent user, installing the full software is a good idea. Printing using either the 'basic' or 'full' software is easy and you can save templates and pre-sets. This makes it easy to re-print labels over and over again if needed, or tweak designs slightly for different projects.*** ANY PROBLEMS? ***I've been using the unit for about 6 months now, and I have had to send one unit back due to a fault with the unit not feeding the labels properly. So far, I haven't had this issue with the replacement unit.*** THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW / KEEP IN MIND ***(1) You can only print in black and white. There is no colour option.(2) There are no ink cartridges. The unit prints using laser technology. The only cartridges you need to install are the cartridges for the labels.(3) You can only print labels up to 12mm in WIDTH. You can print any length, but you are limited to 12mm in width. If you need wider labels, for instance for printing parcel/packaging labels, go for a different printer, perhaps the Dymo Duo.(4) Replacement cartridges can be pricey, but if you have a look on eBay, there are some really good offers on original Dymo cartridges (with many different label colours) and this makes it quite affordable.*** CONCLUSION ***This is a study and reliable label maker with some good software. Bonjour,Depuis quelques années je me servais d'un modèle portable de la même marque.J'étais ( et suis toujours ) très satisfait du produit, sauf quand je n'ai plus de batteries à mettre dedans sous la main ( 6 x AAA ).Et ( loi de la frustration ) c'est toujours quand on n'en a pas qu'on est pressé.Bref, produit très, mais utilisateur peu attentif, voir médiocre.Je me suis tourné vers du plus moderne et le Dymo LabelManager Pnp.Alors, blabla publicitaire... Il suffit de brancher et le programme pour rédiger le texte se charge il suffit de....Et bien,.... c'est vrai, ça fonctionne et c'est simple.Petite information pratique : ledit programme automatique est à privilégier au programme que l'on peut installer. Car, ce premier permet d'utiliser les Polices d'écriture de votre Pc tandis que le programme installé révèlent quelques surprises avec certaines "Fonts" entre la conception et le résultat imprimé.De plus cet appareil utilise les mêmes cartouches que mon autre Dymo.Quoi de plus pour être content?Ah si....1. S'enregistrer en ligne chez Dymo vous donne droit à un supplément de deux ans en garantie. Ce qui est non négligeable.2. Aux critiqueurs-réchineurs de l’extrême, il y dans dans la boîte un câble et ( surprise ) une cassette D1 black/white, et hop.Merci
