This is a really good fountain pen. I have bought four now.
I have tried 40+ different pens. I have some that are expensive that I like a lot. No one is asking me for this review. This pen, the Lambitou 3059, with the clear body and clear cap, writes smooth like butter. The nib doesn't dry out as fast as other pens that don't have screw on caps. The cap posts nicely. The ink reservoir is larger than most converter pens, and when I write stories with it, it lasts for days. The large reservoir is one of my requirements. It is why I don't like the super expensive pens because all you get is the converter volume of ink. This pen is fantastic. I know, I know. I too read these posts with narrowed eyes too these days when many try to pull a fast one on you on Amazon. But this pen is the real deal. I forget which youtuber I saw it mentioned on, but I figured I'll gamble $16 US. It took a long time to arrive, but when it did, I have used this pen more than most of my others. It is superb. I ordered two more for other color inks. Careful, the one I'm raving about has the clear cap. I also ordered a Lambitou with a white cap, but those nibs are scratchy by comparison. The clear cap 3059 is so smooth I can write for hours and have no issues whatsoever. I live on the East coast of the USA. I'm not getting kickbacks from anyone. I am just surprised by how good this pen is. It is the best value I have found for fountain pens made in China. I have had the first one for 2-3 months now and I have written many pages of manuscripts and journal entries. This pen is a workhorse that doesn't get in the way.

Great value for the money, but watch for defects!
My pen arrived and it could not Post, defective it appears. Skip to the Final Update for the full ReviewUPDATE: Good pen but MINE was defective - an O-Ring was missing at the end which is needed for Posting to work - vendor is issuing a full refund after I (free) ship it back.UPDATE: USPS delivered the returned pen - not seeing the refund... yet.Update 3: Vendor says they'll send a new, replacement, pen; if it's OK I'll do a proper review...Update 4: China Tracking # obtained... now to wait....Update 5: Pen arrived and it has the O-ring the first one was missing, which means - it POSTS. Will be writing with it soon.FINAL Update: See photo - Inked with a sample of Visconti Bordeaux on a cheap ruled notepad, it's a nice Fine nib (looks like a LAMY) and its a dry nib but it starts writing without hesitation. Half filled the pen weighs .6 oz. and the cap by itself weighs 0.4 oz.; the writing feel really changes when it's posted. The cap take 2 1/2 turns to remove and seals nicely with an O-ring. The grip has three flat sides for your fingers (like a LAMY Safari), so there's only one "correct" way to hold it - for the price, I assume this is also a "student" pen. I like the chrome accents and the easy piston filling. The pen is shipped in a clear glassine sleeve protected with bubble wrap - it is a LONG shipment from China, but it is trackable. Just like for my LAMY, I'm using a Vintage Handmade Leather Pen Case (search Amazon) to carry this pen safely.Update: took several flushings to clean the red ink out of the feed.... Now there's fluid behind the Piston and no way to open the pen??FINAL UPDATE: this pen's gone into the trash bin. With the help of other fountain pen users, I was able to clean and grease the pen completely! BUT, then the rubber tip of the piston lodged itself at the nib end of the barrel and the piston stalk pulled out of it. ALSO, I found a small crack in the end of the grip by the nib. AND, my red ink (Visconti Bordeaux) had stained the barrel pink. IN ADDITION, I confirmed what I saw on YouTube - the CAP is not sealed properly so the nib WILL dry out quickly if not constantly used. I saved the nib and feed...

Nice at the price.
Other than a little concern about the hard plastic it is made of, this has been a very nice pen.
