Works great and I love the size. I also like that this model has the option to select the audio output to my Bluetooth head unit. Otherwise I’ve had different models that would switch to the internal speaker if it experienced a disconnection from the unit. Hard to fix that when you’re riding.

Had some issues with it, but contacted customer service and they helped me get it straightened out. An unwanted, unknown origin Bluetooth connection got in there somehow which caused it to flash and get weird. Still happens sometimes when the connection magically re-appears. I reset everything back to factory and re-connected and so far so good. I like the Size, sharpness of the picture, visibility and the CarPlay functionality of the unit.

I can't give an accurate review because I was unable to set unit up with the included (junk) instructions. Typically, you would be able to contact customer service and get help. Not in this case. The only customer service available is to email the company and wait for a reply. And if that is not bad enough, if you have another concern, you must repeat the process and wait again for a possible answer. That is no way to support your customers or your product. As far as I'm concerned, this product sucks ass and so does support. I will find an alternative way of satisfying my motorcycle audio and GPS needs. I'm sure their are much better ways with a true customer support base.

I must admit, I am really impressed with the Carpuride 7" CarPlay unit. It was very easy to set up with my phone. There are a few options for power hookup, very nice. The screen is bright and easily seen in the daylight. It is very quick to automatically connect to my phone once set up. I have used it a couple of times already on motorcycle rides and the large screen made it very easy and convenient to follow my route using my favorite GPS app. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again. In fact, one of my riding buddies liked it so much he ordered himself one, too.

Used this for a 4 day ride in Kentucky on dual sport bikes with a decent amount of off road abuse. I was impressed with the mount (basically a knock off of the RAM mounts) and the durability. The base came loose a few times but I was able to tighten the screws and continue. The only thing missing IMHO is a good screen protector. I have found one on Amazon that should fit but for the price it should include a basic one. I already scratched the screen on mine but being able to swap it around on multiple bikes (soldered the wiring to an SAE/Battery Tender connector) makes it a great purchase if you ride much. I can run Waze on the street and Gaia off road to follow tracks. And control my music if I want while keeping my phone in the tank bag and plugged into a battery pack if needed.**** need to update my review. I've had the unit since May (5 months now) and have used it on probably 4-5 longer rides (2-4 days each) but it stopped working this past ride. Last ride it would sometimes not turn on when I turned on the bike (switched power) but after 5-15 minutes it would then turn on randomly. Used it the first portion of a ride last week but after the initial use (probably 1-2 hours) it wouldn't turn on the rest of the weekend. Tried plugging the USB into a wall outlet, power bank and tried three different USB adapters on the bike and nothing. I hear something inside the unit rattling around but there is no damage to the unit externally (wasn't dropped or hit with anything) so not sure what is wrong. Will contact the company and see if there's anything that can do or something I'm missing... Worked great while it did!
