This nail printer is so cool and futuristic! I got this printer as a gift from my husband for Christmas and have been obsessed ever since! So far I have found the printer to be fairly simple to use once set up. There is obviously a learning curve for nail placement and such, but so far I am loving this product! You can use photos from the gallery on the app or create your own custom images to print out on your nails. As an added bonus you can record the nail printing and save it to your gallery or post it to your socials to share your creations! So far I am really enjoying this machine and would recommendfor fellow nail enthusiasts like myself!

I bought a nailbot last year and we took it for a test drive with the families in our neighborhood at our New Year’s party. It was such a hit (adults and kids alike) I had to get another one when I saw it on Amazon! The packaging and included accessories are darling and the setup is easy peasy. The prints come out exactly as shown - even photos from my phone! My 5 year olds can’t wait to start designing their own art to print on their nails. I use it as much as they do and will be gifting this gem to family and friends. Such a fun and innovative product!

This review is for the NAILBOT Smart Manicure Nail Printer. Very fun and works surprisingly well. Setup was simple, but anticipate a bit of trial and error initially when printing on your first few nails. There is a positioning learning curve, especially for younger ones. There are several designs to choose from and the set comes with everything you need to get started. Setting up the accompanying smartphone app was a bit of a pain for a new account. The signup buttons as you progress through registering on a standard size iPhone was not size properly for the screen. You can barely see the top of the buttons and it took several tries to make it recognize a button tap. But once past the registration part it is fine. I will say the app is VERY battery hungry when using the augmented reality feature, so be prepared to charge your phone back up. I will also say the value at the current $300 price is highly questionable. The printer is ok from a quality perspective, but for what it does, I don’t see the value. It is still just a printer of tiny images. Plus the ink refill cartridge (and a small one) is currently $50. Overall I’m rating it 4 stars, but part of me wants to drop it down to 3 just because of the value aspect. It does work really well and is a lot of fun. But the value makes me pause.

I ordered this for the niche factor. My daughters love having their nails done so I thought they might appreciate it. At the time of the order, it was listed for $299. I don't know if the value of it is worth that, though it does come with the ink that is needed and as far as I have seen the app is free. That being said, it was a MAJOR struggle to get this thing to work. Each time I would try restarting it would give me an error message. The first time I tried to print, it told me there was a problem the ink installation so I went through the guided steps to reinstall it WITHOUT ACTUALLY DOING ANY OF IT because I knew it was installed properly, and lo and behold it worked. It took me far longer than it should have (close to an hour) to print one decal on each of my girls nail and one on mine (3 prints total) because of all the error messages I kept getting. The directions also state that you can print on colors, the decal colors may not be as good, and the white primer will fade once the top coat is applied. I didn't find this to be true. I put a palm tree on my thumb nail over a tropical orange color (see picture) and while the primer did fade it was still definitely visible under the top coat. The decals also peel after a couple days. That being said, my girls love the decals they picked. I personally thought it looks a little childish for myself, but my girls are 8 and 10 so they liked it. I can't see myself using this often for myself, but my daughters and their friends will like it. You also don't have to use the included white polish. I tried it on dip powder, and using the primer on top of a finished gel manicure worked just fine.

I got the Nailbot 1.0 for my daughter, and we are both so impressed with it! She put her favorite anime characters on her nails, and I put pictures of her and my son on my nails—all straight from our phones! We are excited to do our next creative ideas. These machines should be in every nail salon or at least your home salon. ;) It’s such a cool invention. Also, customer service is top notch! Thanks, Nailbot, for a really fun product that a mom and her preteen can have fun with together!!
