I'll be honest, I bought the 4 & 5mm variants as was not 100% sure of size required, I ended up using the 5mm and these have been tucked away in a drawer for future use... That said, the construction of the 2 items is identical, with the only difference being size - The multiple ribs each end really grab the inside of the hose without the need of zip ties or cable clips, the raised section in the cntre, where the pipes meet, leaves a hard to detect, professional looking join

Fantastic product, bought some from Halfords which didn't do the job, this was perfect for a VW Eos washer hose that had split, bought some rubber hose of same diameter and then cut replaced split portion, joining them with this, saved a much costly total hose repair and got it ready for the MOT which it would have failed having no working windscreen washer hose. It's a known defect on VW's, the OEM hose getting brittle and snapping by the bonnet hinge, couple of cable ties either end of the repair and job done
