Big Book of Beautiful Biscuits Paperback – January 1, 1986

I bought this because a friend of mine has one and I just love the recipes. It's Australian so some of the ingredients are listed differently than an American would list them (i.e. for Copha I used coconut oil) but the recipes are delicious and nicely different. Everything I have made or tasted so far has been delicious. I have a lot of cookbooks and this will be one I use a lot.

More than 125 delicious cookie and biscuit recipes in varying degrees of difficulty and great conversion guides at the end of the book.

This book has very strange ingredient measurements half seem to be in cups and half in grams. I have not tried any of the recipes yet but there is a great variety of biscuits to choose from. I am quite a confident cook but I know simple as biscuit recipes can be they can also be tricky to get right. I am hoping this book will be helpful in achieving that.

This is my favourite biscuit/slice book of all time. I keep coming back to it repeatedly (despite all my other recipes book purchased in the intervening years!). I've used it throughout my daughters growing up and was so pleased to be able to find two more copies to buy so that I could give them one each to have in their homes, to used with the families and friends.

Over the last three years, I have bought two copies of this book. One for my mum, and this year a copy for my sister - who has started making biscuits with her son. She wanted the best biscuit book there is, so on my mum's recommendation - I bought the sister a copy..... :)
