I needed a new set of cutting shears as mine inexplicably disappeared and we're trapped inside during quarantine with no definitive opening day set for our salons. I really liked this set because it not only comes with everything you need (thinning shears, cutting shears, comb & case, etc.), the quality is very high for the price. My scissors didn't need to be sharpened. They're not extremely durable or razor-sharp, but they are pretty close to professional quality in terms of feel and cutting precision. I did a freehand trim of my hair using them to point-cut and my split ends are all completely gone - my hair looks just like I went to the salon and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I haven't tried the thinning shears but I imagine they'll work just as well.

This is a nice set with a handy carrying case. I've been cutting my husband's hair for years and I often cut or thin my own bangs. I also trim or thin the hair on extensions and hair pieces that I sometimes wear. My old scissors weren't sharp anymore and my thinning shears came apart, so this kit has everything I need at a great price.

Not the greatest, could be sharper they tend to pull the hair a bit. Not awful for the price.

This set is super nice! The tools come in a nice leather case that zips and holds the tools in place. I cut my hubbys hair and they really work great! Would definitely recommend to those who cut hair casually or even in a professional salon!

Super sharp

Very easy to use case. The battery indicator on the back makes it easy to tell how much charge you have left on the case. Pretty light weight. Works well with my iphone 7. Gives me about two full charges. Would recommend.

Love them they are gorgeous inspired me to go to hair school!
