Stymied by Phone Backup
In the best of circumstances, Android OTG is very hard to get to work consistently. This inexpensive unit worked first time (every time as long as I didn't mess with it). This was a treasure to find. It's a permanent part if my kit now.

Pretty fast flash drive with a tricky sliding cover
This PNY 128 GB Elite-X USB C flash drive is pretty fast for a USB flash drive. I observed write speeds fluctuating around 30 megabytes/second and reading over 200 megabytes/sec. That's quite fast for a large thumb drive and makes it easy to use.The drive did have downsides in the way it uses a sliding cover to protect the metal USB C connector, but that cover doesn't fully cover the opening of the plug and also is not easy to manipulate. Smooth plastic edges don't give you much to grip. The drive arrived formatted with the FAT32 filesystem, which is broadly compatible with computer and phones, but that file system has a pretty big downside in not allowing files larger than around 4 gigabytes. With a larger capacity flash drive like this, it's quite likely you'll need to store media files larger than 4 GB and will need to reformat it with a different filesystem. The package for the drive didn't mention that it was formatted with FAT32 either.

Too Stiff To Be Useful
As a flash drive it's pretty much run of the mill as far as performance. But what really frustrates me is how difficult it is to "slide it open". I've been tempted to break the sliding shroud so I can use it without requiring a pry bar to do so.

The moment i opened it and unmounted it from my computer and samsung phone it stop working
I don't recommend this product. I was reading the reviews and that's why I bought it but apparently when I connected it to my gaming PC and my Samsung Galaxy s21 it stopped working and now I cannot retrieve my photos that I took when I was in Yucatán and I lost them. I really am disappointed from it and i lost all my picture i took with my grandmother when i hooked it up on the computer. Waste of time and money on this.

Super slim and achieves over rated speeds
This is a good thumb drive. I will cover the build quality and the performance.Build quality:The thumb drive is attractive, small, and well built. The retracting mechanism is strong and will not retract unless you want it to. The male USB C is strong and well seated into the housing. This is a super slim drive. Smaller than any other quality thumb drive I have.Performance:This is a USB 3 thumb drive, but the drive is rate for 200MB's read speed. Just because it is USB 3 doesn't mean the drive reaches the theoretical speed limits of USB 3 standard. The product page clearly states that the read speed is 200MB/s and this drive achieves that and more. Performance wise, you are getting more than advertised and size wise you get exactly as advertised.Summary:This is a good drive. It achieves more than rated speeds. It is super small with excellent build quality. I would recommend for a Windows install drive as that's what I am using it for.

I like it.
Okay, there's no way this is as fast as they claim, but that's not an unheard of situation. It's a surprise when it is.That said, 128G on USB-C for under $15?That's a yes all day long as long as it is reliable.I've copied about a terabyte across it, so it's been reliable so far!Unless you are really picky about speed, I recommend it. It is still faster that the old stuff by far.

Perfect for transfers and backups
Great way to shuttle data to and from my phone. Easy to use and pretty much self explanatory. The little slide cover is a bit annoying to use - can be difficult due to small size. It does the job well and is easy enough to use. The one downside, it's very easy to lose.
