My ESA, therapy dog In Training, comes to the center I founded for adults with disabilities, she is in Training and needs a leash, this one is short enough that she doesn't step on it, and big enough the participants can walk her comfortably. Great quality, not too expensive, and light enough it doesn't bother the dog to have it on all day.

I bought this to add to a specific dog leash (the kurgo quantum - it's a waist wrap around leash that has lots of places to add hooks/carbiners) and I'm using it as a second handle so that I can use both my body weight (with the leash wrapped around) and my arm with this second handle attached further down on th eleash, to stop our very large 70lb 10-month old bernedoodle puppy from lunging at squirrels and trying to chase when on walks. So far it's been a real game-changer. It's soft and doesn't hurt my hand, and with this double set-up, I no longer have to stress just my arm when the puppy bolts. The carabiner element is quite sturdy.

Got this for when I need to keep my fluffy guy close and it's so nice, it feels comfortable to grip and the 10 inch length works so well with his height in comparison to mine! Locking mechanism has been a nice security measure too as I've lost other handles before on walks. Bright orange color is perfect for visibility and obviously matches the long lead I have for him.

We use this often. Our GSD is a rescue who is reactive to other animals and I need to retain total control of him. This helps when we are surprised by another dog walking around a corner. It helps me keep my GSD close to me and prevents him from lunging toward another dog or person. High quality and a great find that has made our lives easier and our walks more pleasant for us and our dog!

I purchased the 25cm version and will definitely be buying the slightly longer version too.I have a collie X lab that is a real puller. She is very excitable and this short lead has already helped to give me a bit more control when crossing the road and on narrow paths. I almost always walk her with a lead that goes around the waist, but this means it can be hard to rein her in quickly and safely when needs be. It also seems sturdier than alternative comparable products I have seen for sale, and the carabiner clasp is very strong. I really like this product so far!Note that the shorter version of this product is definitely more of a handle than a lead; it’s great for short bursts but if you want a lead to use for a longer walk, the longer version is perhaps more appropriate. Also worth noting that this 28cm version is too short for my partner, who is much taller than I, to reach when it’s attached to her harness. So, if you are taller or your dog is lower to the ground, I’d recommend getting the longer version.
