Protein powders are a dime a dozen it seems. Some taste great and some are just awful. This one is pretty good. I’m partial to whey protein sources, but wanted to venture out and have a vegan source of protein. The first bag I received tasted delicious. On par with some of the better whey protein mixes I’ve had. And it mixed really well. Concurrent bags though, I’ve noticed a slight difference in both taste and mixability. The taste has a subtle aftertaste I didn’t notice with the first bag, though not bad. And now the powder kind of settles after mixing. I have to re-shake every 10-15 seconds to re-suspend the mix. Not the end of the world but a little annoying. I like that the ingredients are pretty straightforward, no filler. And the number of servings is very fair for the price and quality. The mix comes in a bag instead of a tub that I prefer, but it’s barely an inconvenience.

I only buy Promix products because they are the cleanest product I’ve come across. Your protein shouldn’t have a bunch of extra poison ingredients in it! And the price is great for the amount you get!!

Update: So far, Promix is the best sugar-free, plant-based protein powder I've found. While it doesn't mix well in a shaker bottle, Promix is a great sugar-free, plant-based powder to blend into a smoothie. Because the customer service is great (someone reached out to me after my original review to make things right), that's worth giving the product another try. I'd recommend using Promix when you have the time to use a blender, rather than expecting it to mix well with a shaker bottle. Previous review: I've tried many plant protein powders, which are more challenging to mix than dairy proteins, and the texture of the Promix is especially clumpy. It hasn't mattered whether the powder was mixed with room temp or cold water or with cold or heated plant milk - the result is the same unappetizing clumpy mess. It looks like I'll be sticking with the expensive, yet palatable, organic plant-based protein supplements by Four Sigmatic and Sprout Living Epic Protein.

Came here to edit my review. So it works well from the digestive perspective but I don’t see enough change in my muscle mass as I have seen earlier with different proteins. Not sure if taking clean protein takes some time to reflect.

The taste is not bad but it doesn't mix well. I have a ninja bullet blender and I always have to use a spoon to scrape off the chunks of powder stuck to the sides of the jar and blend again. The protein powder is extremely fine. When I opened the bag, a puff of protein powder came out like a cloud. It was impossible to scoop the powder and pour it in the jar without it spilling on the counter. Even closing bag had to be done very slowly or a cloud of powder of come out. The bag itself is very poorly designed. It's not a zip lock type of seal. It is a weird weak velcro like seal but that's the problem. The seal is not sealed very well and at all. If you dropped the bag on the floor the seal would def open and you would have protein powder all over the floor.
