Good info but overpriced
Valuable content placed in laymans terms. Straight to the point into practical instructions. Nothing wrong with the content, but for the price expected a much better publishing (quality of paper, photos, diagrams) and a far deeper/extensive address on the subject. Feels more like a booklet than an actual book. I do recommend 'rammed earth construction' from krahn.

Must read book on rammed earth technology
This book is must read book for anybody interested in rammed earth - be it a one time home builder building his own house or someone wanting to practice rammed earth as a hobby/service. This book goes into the minutest details of how to construct rammed earth structures. Has detailed description of every aspect of rammed earth technology. For example - you want to know how to test the forms to ensure they don't bulge when you ram or you want to make sure you put seismic resistance in place. You get all that in this book. Per page cost of the book looks high but every page is worth the price you pay. Go for it!

Très bonne réception sur un ouvrage difficile à se procurer
Le contenu intéressant contient malgré tout énormément d'erreurs que ce soit pour des références de bâtiments ou des références scientifiques.

Raw earth
The book dealt primarily raw unstablized rammed earth. Living in the USA It is almost impossible to build that is not stabilized. It very adequately covers the concepts of basic stabilized ground work
