I bought this for my 22 year old daughter for her birthday and it was the perfect gift. Ever since she was a child, she loves to build and create things. She assembled the book nook over a two week period and the end result looks great sitting on her bookshelf - it's so cool when lit up at night.

I enjoyed the build but a lot of the wood pieces kept breaking trying to get out. Also my light doesn’t turn off. It goes from on to brighter once the button is pushed. It doesn’t turn off unless from the battery pack

So I’ve started building this kit but only doing so when I have the time. The instructions are super easy to follow and the pieces were a little hard to set up and match, but once you get the hang of things, it’s pretty easy. You’re going to need your own scissors, ruler and such but that’s easy enough to find around the house. The wooden pieces are pretty delicate so I used tweezers to pick everything up. Quality isn’t bad for what you get and I just had so much fun making it! Definitely recommend.
