This is my 5th purchase from Oxford Vitality now and, although it is too soon to say if they're working for me or not yet, the quality of their products and packaging are excellent.The value for money seems much better than competitors and for me the big seller was being made in the UK. They are a company with great values who consider environmental and social responsibility whilst providing high quality products.

I bought the Maca Extra Strength 2500mg tablets midway through September this year (18). At that time I was suffering from at least 5 to 10 hot flushes in an average 24 hour period, each one proceeded by a series of painful electric shocks which ran from the tips of my fingers to my armpits and were fierce enough to wake me up if I was sleeping. These had been going on for months and sleep-deprivation had kicked in to compound the misery. I went to the GP who prescribed anti-depressants. I accepted the prescription politely, binned it when I got home and vowed never to go back.During one of the many middle-of-the-night internet research episodes (induced by a hot-flush-electric-shock wake up call) I came across an article on Maca.This is the first Maca product I've tried. I started on their suggested dose of 2 tablets a day. This induced PMS type symptoms of irritability and a little weight gain, HOWEVER, the hot flashes stopped that day. So I persevered. After two weeks I dropped to one tablet before bed. This seems to have nailed it. No hot flashes and minimal PMS symptoms.Having read that some women suffer for 10 years or more (!!!!!!!) with these miserably incapacitating symptoms I'm just so very happy that I've stumbled upon the right "cure" for me so quickly.I would recommend that you give this Maca brand a try. The retailer has sent several emails to check that I'm happy with the product too, so they seem like nice guys to deal with.

Sometimes, it's not possible to give a helpful review, given the nature of the product. These tablets arrived on time, the price compared well with alternatives. Whether they provide the energy boost and other benefits, it's impossible for me to know with any degree of objectivity. But I'm happy to take them alongside other carefully researched supplements in the hope of gaining overall health benefit. Would I buy them again - yes provided they remain competitively priced; but I'd also have no problem buying a cheaper alternative.

They do help with night sweats.

The product I got didn't seem to match in price or quantity to what I bought. When I reviewed the sales page, it became difficult to figure out exactly what I had bought as nothing made much sense. They suggest 3 months supply in one place but I got 55 tabs. They say take two a day, but this amount doesn't even match one month supply. The packet was not sanitized in any way and it seems like the tablets are just poured loosely into an envelope. I feel completely ripped off by this vendor but can't honestly say if that was the case, no invoice was provided to help me more accurately figure out what I actually did order/pay for. I don't know if the product is good or bad, all I know is that the whole thing is pretty suspicious.

I have purchased from Oxford Vitality previously and will continue to do so in the future. Great products, great service, speedy delivery with no fancy packaging and inexpensive. I'm very conscious of purchasing from reputable suppliers and am assured in the knowledge that all products are produced in an approved facility in Oxfordshire, which is recognised by the FSA (Food Standards Agency) and the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare product Regulatory Association).

I had read about the hormone balancing effect of Maca and have purchased these with that in mind. I have been taking Maca for a few months now although this is the first time I have purchased from Vitality.I would purchase again from the company. The product arrived quickly and seems to be a trustworthy product. I am having health benefits from taking this supplement and will continue.

I've been using maca for years now and buying in bulk(500 pills) can be the way to get a bargain, but not everytime! In my experience there are very little additional effects on the body whether you use 2500mg or 5000 mg, so 1 capsule/pill is enough and according to lots of research 2 to 3 grams a day is optimum, but only if the source is good. You have to be careful when buying, because a capsule/pill 2.5g of a so so brand will always be outmatched by 1000 mg(1g) of a decent brand. Unfortunately you never know until you have tried the brand and this is unfortunately one of those brands. I have been taking 5 g a day for months now in phases(built up from 1 tablet a day which had little effect and noticed nothing except severe bloating of my abdomen, so I went back to 1 tablet which produced this side effect too! I'd never had any side effects with a previous more expensive maca product just using 1.5g a day and always got its renowned beneficial effects. Always best to to use maca for 6 weeks max and then have a couple of weeks off to get the desired effects, but zero to speak of with this weak brand in any case. Not even a placebo effect!
