I applied this on my hair on my third day after washing my hair because it got delivered and I couldn't wait to try it. My hair was blow-dryed. I live in a very humid, tropical city. My hair got a little wet (just a little, nothing crazy) because on the day I washed it it was raining and I didn't have an umbrella. It obviously affected some parts of my hair and they got frizzy and a little bit shapeless. So, I applied less than a pump on my third day. And wow. It gave me shine, softness, and guess what, it even made my hair look as if it had never gotten wet!! I was amazed!!! Like a reboot!! Don't use 2/3 pumps if you have medium to fine hair because I think that's way too much. I will be using this as a finishing oil after I blow dry. As it says on the description, this was a shield for my hair. My routine is: clarifying shampoo (every time I wash my hair), hydrating shampoo, conditioner in the shower, leave-in conditioner (from this Shea Moisture line too), heat protectant, blow dry, and now at the end I will be adding Shea Moisture oil. It says you can use it as a heat protectant too but the one I have from Fantasia is just great and it has always protected my hair exceptionally. But I will definitely use this Shea Moisture oil as an impenetrable shield because it has proven itself. Just, wow. This is amazing!!! Thank you Shea Moisture for such a great product!!

This smells amazing and I’m still giving it a four star view, even though I don’t use it often because it is a very heavy moisturizer. I use it more as a deep conditioning treatment before I wash my hair originally bought it wanting to put it on as a leave in conditioner after washing my hair, but it’s just too thick and too heavy for my type of hair.

I've been a fan of Sheamoisture for years. I have thick curly/wavy Hispanic hair and Sheamoisture always worked really well for me. The Shampoos, Conditioners, and leave ins are all great. I had actually tried their Coconut & Hibiscus hair oil years back when it first came out. My hair felt really soft and hydrated, I liked it a lot. I've been really into oiling my hair a day before, or the day I shower. I've tried a lot of other brands but I remembered that Sheamoisture had oils, so I gave the Manuka Honey & Yogurt one a try. Unfortunately it was just okay. My hair didn't look or feel nearly as good as the Coconut & Hibiscus one. I honestly kind of felt like even the Manuka Honey & Yogurt leave in spray felt more hydrating than the oil version. The smell is definitely one of the best things about it though. It smells like a sweet dessert or a pastry. I always get compliments when I use the Manuka Honey & Yogurt products. But I'd recommend trying the Coconut & Hibiscus oil if you don't like this one. Herbal Essences hair oil was also surprisingly good. I didn't think it'd work for my hair.. but it honestly did a lot. I'd recommend that one too.

Controls the freeze. The looks does not look greasy but sleek. Shapes nice the hair.

I really dislike when I receive an incomplete product because it makes me feel like it was used. No way to really tell although it looks like a slightly lower amount than I'm the photos, but can't really say for sure. No lid in the box... It does smell nice and I have high hopes for it because I do love the leave in. Feels nice and hopefully won't leave hair greasy Update: Amazon sent me a replacement, came with a lid which I'm happy with. I know this may not seem like a massive deal, but it is to me, especially when I take it with me..I don't want it pumping in my bag and getting everywhere Smells really nice, didn't make my hair greasy and gave it a nice shine

Very heavy on the hair, will weigh it down unless maybe you have coarser hair it will work for you
