Pros: +Once all is said and done and you build it, this is a very sturdy and great desk. +It was easy to assemble, the instructions were straightforward and you are able to assemble it BY YOURSELF in an hour at most. +The wood desktop (which is why I chose ApexDesk over or other suppliers) feels very premium and was worth the purchase. Some of the other adjustable desk suppliers here provide two-piece tops or shoddily constructed ones - not ApexDesk - this is a solid piece of laminate with a very appealing, smooth exterior texture that is pleasant to touch and feels premium. +My desktop was in perfect condition, some other reviews report it being damaged upon shipment, but this wasn't the case for me. +The steel frame is very nice as well, though (seemingly?) similar steel frame quality seemed available from other adjustable desk suppliers on amazon, the frame that comes with this desk was easy to assemble and very nice. The steel frame has a glossy finish. The motor works great. +The power cord provided is very long and should reach an outlet in most medium to large-sized rooms. All cables provided were sturdy and not made via cheap wiring. Cons: -At a $650 price tag, I would expect them to include some form of cable management, as there is nothing provided in this desk - the cables hang right below and run into your legs while sitting at the desk - it's annoying! -Not even cable ties were provided with this package, which would have been an easy way to stop the cables from hanging underneath and hitting your legs as you use the desk. Since this is easily mitigated by buying your own cable ties, I only took 1 star off. But for the premium price tag, I would still expect them to include a cable management bracket or some sort of cable management method. Neutral: ~Mount for the height controller did not fit its screws very well and the controller itself is fairly wobbly. This is easily remediated via using your own drill or different screws that can secure it more tightly to the desktop base.

I have been thinking about purchasing this desk for the past 4 months since COVID-19 hit and we started working from home. I finally realized this wasn’t ending anytime soon and was tired of working on a beat up folding table so I ordered it. Let me say that this desk is everything I’d hoped for. It is super sturdy even at full height. The motors are fast and assembly was easy. One of my concerns was it arriving damaged but it is packaged so well I don’t think the Samsonite gorilla could damage it. The top is an MDF core with a top and bottom thick hardwood oak laminate that is beautiful and strong. It has a rounded top edge and a beveled bottom edge. My only complaint is that the manufacturer shouldn’t have beveled the bottom edge on the back of the desk. It makes it difficult to mount a clamp on style monitor stand. I would feel more confident in the strength of the clamp if that bevel wasn’t there. It works though. My only other “complaint” is the memory buttons. You have to hold them in until it reaches position. I know, first world problems. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things. All in all this is an amazing desk and I would recommend it to anyone.

With the transition to working from home, I wanted a quality sit/stand desk. I looked at some cheaper ones but given the amount of time I'd be spending at the desk, I decided to get a higher quality unit. It came in three boxes. Two on one day and the other on a different day. I put the desk together myself but a second person would make it easier and is what they recommend. The desk comes with a programmable controller to adjust the desk as well as to save up to four heights into memory. The desk has a sturdy feel to it and feels pretty stable when at the stand height. If you shake it, you will see your monitors move a tiny bit (mine is on thick carpet). Perhaps a crossbeam between the legs would make it steadier but I like the clean look. I have two 31.5" monitors mounted on my 60" desk and am very happy with the setup. I like the contoured / ergonomic front of the desk as it feels more natural to me than an abrupt straight edge. Make sure to plan for cable management as this desk has none. Cable management is real important for keeping a clean look. Overall I'm happy with the desk and would recommend it.

I was so excited to get this product and I wasn't disappointed. I was worried about it's sturdiness. Passed!, it is very very sturdy. I was worried about the looks and the wood top. Passed! it looks great. The real black wood top is great looking and very sturdy and has nice chamfered edges. It DOES NOT look cheap or feel cheap. Even though it is not a cheap desk, it was worth the money. I give it a big BUY. And as a woman, it was easy to put to together. The top is heavy (which is good) because it is sturdy so I suggest putting it on a chair and your couch and pulling it onto the frame, but cover the frame with towels so you don't scratch it. And the biggest PLUS for this desk is the EXTRA pop outs on both sides of you which gives you that little extra room . It's nice to have that little extra space to hold a notebook or a laptop that you plug into a couple of monitors. I give all stars and say Go for it, it's a buy from me. Oh and the adjustable actuators and memory key pad so worth it...I am up and down all day with a touch a pad, so go for it...
