Take off the filmy layer
Bought this as a gift for my daughter and her fiance. They loved the ornament but we were all confused by the cloudy appearance in the top side. We thought maybe there was a layer of film in it but we couldn't get anything to peel up. My future SIL finally got his thumbnail under it and we were relieved at how beautiful it was once he removed the film. Excellent quality for the price. Not too heavy. Lovely size and colors.

Nice gift
I thought it was etched in glass, but it was hard clear plastic. That was on me because I didn't read the description. Still makes a very nice gift.
