Far Cry Compliation - Xbox 360

One of those compilations you would be crazy not to get for your XB1. I originally bought it when only Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was backward compatible. Then out of nowhere Far Cry 3 became BC. Now, Far Cry 2 is BC. I wouldn't say I'm a huge Far Cry fan, I didn't really care for 2 and thought Blood Dragon was a bit overhyped but 3 was one of my favorite games of last generation. I did pay less for this compilation than it's currently selling for but as long as it's under thirty, it's well worth it, especially if you enjoy the gameplay of the Far Cry series. Two isn't as similar as three and Blood Dragon but they're all worth a playthrough. The story does not continue from game to game so if you're looking at it for that reason, it's a completely different story in a completely different setting in each game. The games are fun though.

This is an amazing game and an amazing deal.Farcry 3 is on of the best game you will ever play.I never played farcry in my life and I didn't know where to start so i bought this game thinking that I needed to play it in order. So I started playing farcry 2 and I gotta say that game was trash so I started regreting buying this game until I started playing farcry 3 and boy did it improve. Amazing story and wonderful characters. Then I played blood dragon and ... It was interesting thats all I'm gonna say . But this is why I became a farcry fan and brought farcry 4 and damn these games just knee getting better and better so if you wanna buy this product get ready to be amazed at this game series. Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity ?

was pleased to see that it was 3 discs and that i didn't get duped with a digital download like other people were talking about because i dont have xbox live and wouldn't have been bothered to get it just to download part 2 and blood dragon.. i specifically bought this to play blood dragon, so far it is a blast and i love it. the first far cry that i played was part 4 and have recently been playing 5 and primal. i like how the controls on 3 are still similar to the new games so its easy to jump into especially after switching between consoles (ps 4 to xbox 360)very fun series. about everything i would expect from a far cry game,

This Compilation of Far Cry games is worth it for the massiveness of Far Cry 3 alone, but the fact you get Blood Dragon and Far Cry 2 makes it an even better deal. I will say, though, that Far Cry 2 pales in comparison to 3 when you consider how much they changed the gameplay, graphics, and setting. They're both games that will take a while to finish (compared to Blood Dragon which is more a mini game in comparison) but 3 just has so much to do and get distracted by. The visuals are astounding and the main mission is just a blip compared to all the side missions and other distractions to keep you hooked for a very long time. The firs time you open the entire map it's almost overwhelming but in a good way. I've been really pleased from the moment I go the discs - and there are three discs for those of us who like the physical copy as compared to the download option.

Like new, factory sealed in plastic. Could have been packaged better, but it came with another item I ordered. Plays fine, some lag when loading but nothing awful. Doesn't come with DLC, and was actually hard to find (in general and for the price). I find it really tedious to have to wait 7+ years for publishers to make comp disks and then screw you over by not including DLC, but instead making ANOTHER disk all together. It over saturates the market and in the end, what's the point of buying games at launch if you can wait and then get a comp disk with all DLC 2-4+ years later? I digress.

Far Cry 2 has an amazing soundtrack, it's NOT like Call of Duty type of experience. It has depth and engaging storyline. Far Cry 3, again excellent NPC and freedom of playstyle. FC3: Blood Dragon is a cool retro B movie sardonic humor gem. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 First Person; yet so much more than a Shooter! Bravo!

This compilation was very much unexpected. You get the highly acclaimed Farcry 3 with the stand-alone Blood Dragon, an excellent way to expand the Farcry franchise adding the retro-future feature. Far cry 2, the third game included, is the real jewel of the whole package.Originally released somewhere in 2008, it was ostracized by the public due to the huge amount of bugs that plagued the game such as corrupted save files & screen freeze problems among other programming errors. Not even the patches available shortly after the initial release managed to save the game from being relegated to other alternatives.Fast-forward to 2014 and we get this enhanced version of FarCry 2 that runs smoothly from start to finish.Eschewing the approach that most games offer you, this shooter is unique in many ways. For starters, weapons tend to jam frequently even if you buy them new. Certain weapons cannot be carried together, even if they belong to the same category. Enemies do actually re-spawn once you walk into a previously cleared outpost. The health system is very different from other games as you regain health slowly, which can be frustrating if you are in the middle of a shooting.The map itself is a crumpled piece of paper that shows you a huge amount of land (and water) with a fair amount of places for you to clear. Locations where you have to go to perform missions can be reached by vehicle. The problem is that usually the road is unsafe as patrols tend to be everywhere. You can take a bus that helps you travel fast but there are only 5 possible destination; the four corners of the map and the center. This brings forward a polarizing but nonetheless challenging aspect of the game, as you will spend most of the time walking through enemy territory, sometimes in stealth mode, while heading to your destination.As you go along the game, you get to rescue other mercenaries like you which offer you alternative ways of dealing with missions related to the main story. If you get gunned down, they will come for your help, plus giving you a second chance to finish your duty. In a very unique way, you are also given the chance of aiding them or leaving them to die when they are about to bite the dust. This brings us to the main story, which is basically two opposite guerrilla factions (UFLLS & APR), disputing a generic African country. Your mission is simple, to track down & kill The Jackal, the man responsible of waging war by arming both sides. The main story missions keep you constantly being hired by both sides.ide missions include helping the local priest in exchange of malaria pills, eliminating the weapons dealer competition in order to get new gear to buy & killing specific human targets among others.You`ll spend over 50 hours if you go for every single mission, but beware, it`s not a fast paced game as you will spend long times just traveling from one location to the other while avoiding being spotted. It requires a certain amount of patience and it`s not a game that draws you in easily. Even the tutorial doesn`t bother to tell you much.If you can overlook all this facts, then you are in for a very rewarding game with an excellent storyline that will linger in your memory like the afterglow of a falling star.
