I've been buying this item for nearly 30 years, and it's perfect for those days of constipation. Reliable and good value for money. It's easy to use. The bag wears out after about 6 months with little leaks, but that's not a problem.

This is a really easy product to use. For anyone who needs to maintain a healthy colon this kit is ideal. It packs away into the original discrete package it comes in. It’s easy to keep clean and comfortable during use. I’ve used other devices similar to this in the past and can say this is of superior quality.

It does what it is supposed to do but it creates lot of bubbles in the flow. I have tried filling up more but it still there. You can use it a few times and then dump it, thinking of getting the electric ones for long term use.

I cannot take medication due to allergies so when the gut stopped functioning properly for a few days after a hard fall and then became impacted I was at a loss. But this was the solution. There are no instructions but this doesn't matter because there is a lot of online tuition. It is a simple gravity fed bowel wash, the small tapered nozzle is the one to use. Fill the bag with warm water, allow the tube to fill to expel air then close the tap. Hang the bag at chest height or higher (holding it up can be tiring). Lubricate and gently insert, open the tap and wait while gravity allows water to enter. It took me two attempts because I didn't allow enough time, but second time around I had a lie down letting the water work it's way around the bowel. I am in favour of self care whenever possible and this gave me the chance to cope with a simple problem without any fuss and without having to wait for appointments.

In general, it is a good product, but it depends on where it was produced. The ones made in Italy are of good quality, the tube is soft, the bag is a bit transparent, and the tap and cannulas are soft and easy to handle. However, the ones made in Egypt are of inferior quality. The tubing is stiff and shorter, the closure is impractical, and the cannulas are slightly different from the Italian product and can cause injury when inserted. Unfortunately, you never know what product you are getting. I wonder if the company in Italy does know about this difference in quality. Or are the ones made in Egypt even original PIC?

The bag is good but the hook is useless. What is worse is the fact there is no return valve / backflow valve so water can simply go back & forth endlessly making this useless. Do not but get one with a return valve.
