With AeroPress poised to increase the cost of their filters here in the first quarter of 2024 it makes sense to be looking at some alternatives. While these are perfectly serviceable, I don't believe they will be your best choice.Depending on how deep you've looked into recipes for the AeroPress you may have come across people advocating for the use of two filters to produce a cleaner cup. Personally, I've never felt this was super necessary with the branded filters, but after doing some testing with these it has me wondering. In one of my head-to-head experiments I pre-wet the filters and timed how long it took 250g of water to pass through the filter chamber. For the official filters that turned out to be 23 seconds, while these filters here only took 20 seconds. There is a lot less resistance going on there, and their thinness is just as evident in-hand.Additionally, I found these filters to be cut ever so slightly larger than the official filters, making them more of a hassle to both install and remove, especially when used with the Flow Control cap.

This works great with my Bialleti Moka press. Does great with the 6 cup version. The coffee comes out smoother and with much less sediment. Go for it. Get it and will improve your cup of coffee greatly.

If using a Moka Pot - these filters work great to remove that last bitterness that may seep through. This size perfect for 3 Cup Moka Pot. No Brainer

I really like it. I brew my coffee in a moka pot. I place the paper filter and can use a finer coffee grounds. The final result is a cleaner and more flavorful coffee.
