The magnets hold but are not as strong as the Normcore funnel. The rim of this funnel sits within the basket, therefore you have to remove it in order to use the tamper. What I do like about this one is that the walls are steep, so makes using a WDT convenient. Also, the steep shape does not interfere with my grinder's on/off button.

It doesn't look like it in the picture but this funnel is significantly bigger than other funnels. You can fit most other funnel's widest point inside of this funnel with room to spare.At first you'd think that would make this too big, but somehow it felt the same as using any other funnel. I could still use it with my grinder in my portafilter holder and it really helps catch any stray grinds.One other thing about this funnel is, it is a bit heavier than other ones. That might be a good or bad thing. It really gives it a solid feel and fantastic for home but if I had to use this many times in a day, maybe less so.The magnets are this funnel are really solid and work well. They do make a claim it is stronger than other funnels, I haven't noticed that. It does have an extra magnet compared to most other funnels but when compared to other funnels, they're all around the same strength.Definitely a good buy, this is my favorite funnel (so far).

The ease of use of this thing speaks for itself after the first time. Throw it on, do your grinds, pulls off with ease, and move forward with the process. Just makes it much cleaner, without adding extra time. Metal is smooth and has a quality appearance. My issue with the item is the very weak magnets. Keep it horizontal, and you will be fine.

I got this funnel because I am trying to improve upon my espresso routine. It is very nicely made. It has a nice finish and it is squared off a little to allow it to fit a bit closer to the body of the grinder. There are several tiny magnets in the rim of the funnel that holds it tight to the rim of the porta filter basket.The biggest benefit that I see is that it prevents coffee grounds from being scattered around the counter when using the WDT wire tool. I like it, but I'm not sure it will substantially improve my routine.I tend to be a little stingy with five star ratings, but I think this it a nice item.
