The book is bigger than anticipated but that's on me. It's a nice book, nice material, the biggest drawback for me is that the coins don't stay in that well. The bigger ones do because the fit is snug, but anything else falls out pretty easily.

My husband loved these books! They held a large amount of coins but still easy to carry. They made it easy to organize his coins in a functional durable book. No flimsiness here. The thickness of the book is easy to work with as well.

I needed to send back the first book because the metal anchor ornament damaged the cover. This is just a reminder to the seller that it would be wise to change the package of the book and wrap the metal pieces separately to prevent this. Otherwise the book looks very good in life, like a "pirate diary", it is strong and there are lots of space for the coin collection. It will be a Christmas present.
