Rick Steves Snapshot Krakow, Warsaw & Gdansk (Seventh Edition) : Hewitt, Cameron, Steves, Rick: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: As advertised - Quality guide delivered as promised Review: Ho comprato questa guida perché copriva proprio le 3 città che prevedevamo di visitare, e il fatto che fosse in inglese per me non era un problema. Molto dettagliata e piacevole da leggere. Consigliatissima!

Excellent guide and small enough to carry while walking around.

Another decent guide book from this author. Detailed. Comprehensive. Not dated yet.

This book was a good place to start in planning my 3 week trip to Poland. It was my first European trip in a very long time and this book helped me to navigate through the Missy common things of encounter. However, nearly half the book is filled with literally sight seeing tours. That’s great, but really who goes on a trip holding a book as you walk through each place? This book would have been a giant win for me if it had a link to an audio version of those tours, as many Rick Steve’s guidebooks do. If your a novice like me this is a good place to start but be prepared to do your homework.

I started purchasing Rick Steves books a few years back before I'd travel out of the country. I enjoy read up on where I'm heading to and he gives great suggestions of what to see in a short time period. I take the books along on the trips and I've visited some of the coolest places due to his recommendations. I was between visiting Switzerland and Poland this upcoming summer. Once I read through his books, it was an easy decision for me. Switzerland's scenery sounded amazing, but it would involve a lot of hiking and having a rental car. Krakow, Poland, won, since we can stay close to the majority of the areas we want to visit and not need to worry about driving in a foreign country.
