I purchased the black plastic version that comes with little flickering battery operated tea lights inside.I thought maybe I was being a little extra in ordering these to attach to my Halloween cemetery gates but it ended up absolutely making it. The flickering effect was absolutely the finishing touch it needed.I simply ran a black zip tie through the silver ring (it’s basically like a key ring) on the top of each lantern to attach it to my gates.The plastic version seems a bit flimsy for the price but honestly they work well and aren’t intended for constant use. No one can tell they are plastic when you’re using them at night anyway. Hopefully they hold up well in the heat.Very nice that they come with another complete set of batteries and a perfectly sized screwdriver so the screws won’t get stripped. I removed my batteries after use for storage.

These are very cute plastic lanterns, I love that they came with the battery. The fake light flickers like a candle too. I took one apart because someone said you could take out the candle (I was hoping to put in real candles) But you cannot unless you try really hard and are up for diy projects. It was very hard to take the bottom off and as you can see in the picture, the light is attached to the bottom and you replace the battery on the outside. These are great to use as is, I recommend them!

These are okay. They are plastic and a bit cheap looking. They are a dull black color, not shiny. The bottom does come off so you can take out the plastic windows; however, it is a PAIN to take off. And in getting it off, I bent the plastic a bit. I like the idea of these, but I would not buy this particular mini lantern again.

Yes, these are just cheap little lanterns but oh my!!! Yes, plastic but very well made. Yes need batteries but came with batteries and a pack of SPARE batteries! Not only that, but a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment...Who does that nowadays!? Most don't even include 1 set of batteries, much less a spare set! Thank you to the manufacturer...your extra effort was noticed and appreciated! I purchased to sit at each plate setting at our Halloween dinner to add a glow of spooky. Then to use to light the snack table at our Halloween party afterwards. 🎃 I love them.

The media could not be loaded.  The Lanterns were mini and light weight. Although one of them 6 lanterns didn’t work, I had a replace the battery and still didn’t turn on. It’s nice to decorate your fireplace or a dining table with these mini lanterns also includes a mini control.

These inexpensive little lanterns are a great buy for the money. They look great, work as they should, and come with a remote and extra batteries. I used them on my table as part of the decor for an at home wedding. They looked adorable.

Out of 6 of these 3 are working, don’t recommend. Will be returning!
