Have just purchased a used mini one 2016 and the round gear knob looked like it’s been gnarled by a dog! The rubber was starting to get sticky and come away on my hand as I was driving. Yuk. A new one was expensive as the whole gearstick needs to be replaced so I bought one of these for now. Cheap and works fine. It’s soft touch. Looks good. Means I now have clean hands and don’t have to look at the horrid dissintegrating gear knob any more ha. I’m not gonna lie it was tough to squeeze it over the gear knob as it wasn’t the same shape at all but after a few failed attempts I got it on (and straight!) and am so pleased with it. I was a bit worried about the seam that runs all the way through the middle of it - but you can hardly see this at all. Once fitted on mine - there is a slight air pocket at the top as it’s not the same shape as the original knob but it still looks decent. Nobody would be able to tell.

Covered the usual Defender split knob perfectly. Looks quite smart. Would definitely buy again rather than spending hundreds on a replacement knob.

Recently purchased a used V60. Love the vehicle, but due to the age of the car, the gear stick knob was quite worn and I could hardly make out the original gear markings. Took a punt and purchased this replacement cover . It was not easy to fit, until I lightly covered the original gear knob with Vaseline and then fitted this well made replacement. So easy! It slipped on like a glove and I am very, very pleased. Definitely recommend.

Looks and fits great.

The plastic on top of my gear stick was worn and rough and starting to irritate my hand. Got this to cover it up and does the job perfect. Used on a mk5 golf but it stretches so will fit any one of similar shape.

Not good. Even Size not fix as shown during placed universal but its not fit in my car's gear knob. Also item does not have the button space which we press during changing the gear. When i did put it on gear knob then gear button was not pressing bcz its cover all the knob so how to change the gear after put this ? First of all it was not fitting in the knob bcz its very tight. By its size and design not for gear shift knob. Manufacture did not gave space for gear button . why?👎👎👎
