A life saver
I bought this after having completed a first aid refresher course ⛑️ where I was taught how to apply this in an emergency. Knowing this I thought it would be a great addition to my vehicle emergency kit. It’s practical easy to use and only £5 with next day delivery. A potential life saver.

Looks the part
Haven’t had to use it in an emergency and only in training / Airsoft Muslims. Seems to be good quality and easy to use

Ready - Just incase
The one piece of kit in my workshop I hope never to use but it is on a French cleat on the wall along with other kit except that this cleat is painted red so that it stands out ready just in case. The quality and design seem suitable for the task although the instructions are at best difficult if not totally useless.

Impressed with the quality
First off, not used in anger, but from what I'm looking at, they seem well made. The only thing I would caution about, and this is not a big issue, but I bought 2 and they came in the same vacuum pack.I only want one in my first aid pack, so I've broken the seal. Quite frankly when you've reached the point of a tourniquet, hyper sterile is the last concern.Crucially at the moment, I'd buy again.

Vacuum sealed!
I can't give 5 stars as I have yet to open this - I just hope that it works and that I'd never need it. The actual item was vacuum packed and sealed which is a great idea in terms of 1st aid sterilisation, except they put the instructions inside the pack... So the only way to learn how to use it is to break the seal now, or leave it and hope you can read the instructions well enough in an emergency. A+ for concept, C- for execution.

Save lives
These things are brilliant. I've used the exact same one in combat. And to put it simply, it saved a life.

Cheaper tourniquet
A tourniquet is one of the few items you can carry in a first aid kit that can genuinely save a life, so - if you know how to use one - they are a very good thing to have.Obviously, this review is not medical advice, but just a view of this product's quality. It is good value, but worth a bit of caution. Firstly, it's a slightly older design, and the latest tourniquets are somewhat more reliable. Secondly, while it worked when I tested it, the windlass is not particularly rigid - I could bend it into a U shape with my hand. So while it worked this time, I'd be worried about using it seriously. The stress on the windlass, buckle etc. is obviously very high when used properly, so it's worth being careful about. The wings also curve downwards quite a bit, so it's harder than necessary to get the windlass in, especially one handed.Lastly, the instructions are very poorly translated: but then of course you'd want to have practiced with one before use anyway, and followed proper instructions.Of course, a cheaper tourniquet like this is good for practicing!
