Audiobook review:I love this book through and through and when I got the audiobook, I knew I had another opportunity to experience all the swoony and spicy moments. The narrators have done an amazing job with bringing out emotions and I loved it!! STANDARDS HAVE BEEN RAISEDRating ♾️Spice 🥵🥵🥵.5Okayyyy so this book is everything, the best tropes, the setting, the past bits and pieces, the banter and the insinuating comments 😩I dived into this book without actually seeing all the tropes and blurb, the cover had me convinced 😭💕🥹Tropes:🌸Childhood best friend's brother🌸hate to love as in they hate that they love each other)🌸they share an office🌸fake dating deal🌸only one bed🌸protective mmc🌸boy obsessed🌸banter & spice🌸and ANGSTAlso what a coincidence that I have BLOOM 💕🤌🏼I love the books where the MMC has “it’s you, it’s always been you” feels for FMC but restrains, it always GETS ME😩😩Amelie has done absolute magic with this book and I could read 300 pages more of this ✨Juniper has always been part of Julian's life, as his sister's best friend, as someone her family included in everything, but now they also have to share office and the office space... the banter reminded me of THE HATING GAME...him calling her with a different flower name, pushing her buttons was a delight to read.Juniper had to stand fierce but the same is not the complete truth, so when she has to work with Julian she knows she has to put her walls up high to not let him see it but when Julian needs Juniper's help and she needs a fake date they enter into an agreement.. she will help him if he introduces her with his NFL Friend.He isnt happy about it but can he show it ?? NO....but then he sweeps in like a knight in shining armor and be her fake date.it was fun to read how their walls broke and how much they RESISTED...."from tomorrow, we will just exist" BROKE ME...I WILL CHERISH THIS BOOK FOREVER AND EVER...AND ALSO.... NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP.. THERE I SAID IT... ITS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO WITH THE TROPES DELT IN THIS BOOK..BECAUSE I WAS ON EDGE THROUGHTOUT..Julian is absolute sweetheart who knows when to be the spicy mfer 🥵🥵This is a trophy book which means it deserves to be on my shelf too and I am waiting for the day for it to be available in India as paperback 🩷

I came to search for this book after reading it on wattpad. And this book, ignited such wave of emotions. A definite roller coaster

The book was full of banter and cute scenes that I loved to read. It made me wish for a very Julian-like boyfriend. :)

Y'all I'm sobbing because this book was so beautiful!!! Juliper are everything to me and they own my heart atp🥹 The whole "I hate that I love you but I can't seem to stay away from you" trope? SWOON. Julian was so daddy ngl and I found myself falling for him right from the first page. His nicknames for Juni? I'M A PUDDLE OF MUSH Y'ALL AJSMSKSLKS. I had the wonderful opportunity to beta read this beauty as well and I thank my lucky stars that I slid into Amelie's DMs asking her if I could beta read for her that one day. For a debut novel, Alive At Night is absolutely brilliant. Like, I loved it THAT much you guys. This was the cutest story. I fell in love with Julian and Juniper all along. The book is just incredible with so much love, laughing, and hotness in it.

I loved this book but I feel obligated to warn everyone who consideres reading "Alive at night" that no real man will ever compare to Julian Briggs. He is my new standard wich might become a problem but that is something future me has to worry about.It was funny, cute and so hot. I especially loved how they showed they care and love each other. Julian is the definition of if he wanted to he would.10/10 will recommend my friends so they can stay single with me forever.

I can officially say this gave me everything and more! Hands down is up there with the best books I’ve read this year.I have not been able to put this read down. I’ve been to work late twice in the last week, have been walking around trying to do anything I need to while reading at the same time, neglected chores and in general just forgotten about everything, all consumed by this read. I am obsessed. I could literally start reading it again knowing what happens would put me at ease.because Oh the roller coaster of emotions!🤪The main characters had me from the start. The banter is spot on. The love, hate-done perfectly. Cannot get enough! The spice was done so wellAll the characters are loveable and you get a decent insight to their lives not just a little snippet.Julian and Juniper you have my heart.❤️Calling it now.
