Beware: Check for Leaks Upon Arrival
I added water to the glass teapot to clean it for the first time and immediately noticed a pinhole leak. While this could be a manufacturer defect, I’m outside the return window and very disappointed. Make sure to check the product as soon as it arrives.

It works just the same as more expensive teapots
It is smaller than I thought it would be, but it works just fine. Before, I used the kettle style teapot, which seemed to hold more water, but they break too easily. However, I miss the whistle to let me know when the boiling starts

I am not sure about it.
I ordered this teapot to replace an old one. I like everything about it except that I find it difficult to hold while pouring the tea. The handle doesn’t feel right, and I can't get a good grip on it. I will keep it for a couple of weeks to see if I can find a way to hold it better. However, I know I don’t want to use two hands.

Stovetop Tea Time!
The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty nifty stove top tea pot. It has classic styling while being made of borosilicate glass - it is delicate, so be aware of that. This is a freebie for me to review and my first order arrived cracked. Replacement arrived intact but appeared to be used as it was not secured in moded styrofoam for protection, as these typically are, but wrapped in that airpocket plastic and placed back in the box. Still, it works well. Its size is compact as it holds up to 40 ounces of water. Just drop your loose leaf tea in the diffuser, insert diffuser in water filled teapot pot, turn stove top to low heat and enjoy a nicely brewed tea in about 5 minutes.
