Best pocket flashlight I have ever used.
This light has been used almost daily for 1 year. It is the perfect size to keep in your pocket at all times. The bright setting is better than any flashlight of similar size that I have owned. The best thing about this flashlight is that the rechargeable battery seems to last much longer and keeps the flashlight bright for a very long time. It took me a while to get used to twisting the light case to turn off and on, but over the past year I really do appreciate this feature now. With other small flashlights that I would occasionally hit the on/off button while fishing in the pocket for keys and when I needed the flashlight it would be dead. Not so with this light - the case has to be twisted. I have never accidentally turned it on in my pocket. The only negative that I had with the light is the pocket/hat clip broke almost immediately. It would have been nice to just attach it to the bill of my hat. The flashlight is small enough to easily hold it between your teeth if your hands are full with tools or whatever. Just a great flashlight.

Nice & Bright & super compact but maybe not 1K lumens and you should get some better batteries
Bad battery situation but nice little light. The battery provided is a 920mAH 14500 (14mm diameter and 500mm length) that's the size of a AA but higher voltage (3.7v). A better battery would have been a 2500mAh 3.7V Li-ion Battery that would last longer. Still, IF you figure out how to get it to go to bright mode (twist on and off 3 times) it is pretty bright so, since it is so tiny, I gave it 5 stars and bought another one.

Quick Bright for Its Size
This flashlight is quite small. A little bigger than AA battery. I use it for my travels which is mostly in cities. I don't have a way to measure its brightness to verify the 1012 lumens claim. It is quite bright at max mode(last 2 minutes), specially for its size. It is not brighter than my other claimed 1000 lumens flashlight but comparable. The medium 277 lumens is quite usable for most of use cases. Of course you won't get long distance from this small flashlight for which you should buy a big one. The battery comes with is 3.7V 920 mAh, same size as an AA. I tried with a rechargeable AA 1.2V battery also works. But the 3.7V one is brighter in max mode. Strangely the AA rechargeable I measured at around 1900mAh only last around 1 hour at high/medium mode and quite hot. The 920mAh 3.7V can last around 2.5hours which meets its claim.Off one star is the mode switch interface. Need to twist the head 3 times from low to medium to high. The low mode is not very useful. Should change mode switch sequence to medium->high->low makes more sense in my opinion.

Have owned 2 for over 1 year
Long story short:-great light, plenty of lumens for you (enough to see the insides of your hands). For the size, amazing.-I prefer natural white, it is softer and I often use this light in a setting where less is more. For this reason, I HIGHLY approve of the super low setting-super sturdy, no issues - used often, dropped seldom, pocket carry though.-twist action is fine, not slick but smooth. cycling is intuitive.-I have compared it to several lights, including new Maratac light, get this one.-$15?? sweet! I had to buy a replacement - and what a joy to find it $5 less!Long story:Go for tail stand - it's so bright, you will use it! Lights up the room.Stands on either end well, won't roll with clip onLove the clip - very stiff fit, can just turn it, but gives well for going on, holds tight. Love the switch around feature - like, a lot.The reason it is one handed operation is the very small and precise turn it takes to turn off and change modes - like 10 degrees! Action is smooth and firm - won't go by accident even in use, but won't resist you either. Can't cross the threads or muss the initial connection - amazing. I tried. As long as you are holding it somewhere approaching straight, it simply screws on without a twitch or wink. There is a smooth part where the thread chamber was bored smooth, this goes over the O ring.It is 2 millimeters longer than my chapstick that I EDC, but it is smaller and even lighter without a battery! But with the tiny AAA, it is still barely there.Heats up... A lot. But mostly on the head and tail, where you hold remains cool.Hurts my eyes even through my finger. Can your light show you the views in your Palm?I love the firefly setting, perfectly adjusted to beautifully work in a tent with sleepers and not disturb anyone. However, it is so dim that you will think you haven't switch the light on while in lit situations. Good enough to read by certainly, and low power means lots of hours! My 8 month old was sleeping with his eyes open, I called my wife over to show her, put the beam right on his chest, and it was the perfect light - it didn't disturb the room or his sleep at all, even practically in a sleeping baby's cracked-open eyes! The medium also makes sense. I might make it a bit brighter, but for the sake of more hours on the battery, I prefer that they made it 12 'enough' lumens rather than 20 'absolutely sufficient' lumens that almost cut battery time in half. With 12 I can see a path, tell the flashlight is on in a lit room, and illuminate objects across a dark room. Perfect. Up close it's pretty bright, at more than 5 feet you sort of instinctively try to throttle up a bit.The high beam is devastating. Just what it should be. I sure wish it could go longer on the battery, but it will light a whole room, completely blind and anger your friends, and blow up objects and throw shadows of things that are already well lit. Do not look into the light - it is physically uncomfortable. And the dot lasts a very long time. Feels like staring at a laser. Just impossible that this beam is coming out of this baby chapstick tube. It's enough light to feel like you could stab someone - I was hoping for bright, but I had no idea what to expect. It completely shattered my expectations - I was amazed at how ignorant of what current LED tech is capable of.The strobe is... There. And just that is a question mark for me. Is it a survival beacon? Is it easier to spot someone if their light is strobing? Surely this isn't for some sort of 'tactical' moment? It's pretty easy to get to, but would absolutely be too long and too hard to do in some crazy 'he's about to stab me' moment everyone seems certain is going to happen tomorrow. Here's the deal with this strobe - it's not good strobe. The 'off' periods are so extremely short that you never really lose the light. It's definitely distracting/attention getting, but you won't look like stop-motion in it and it is not enough to disorient me.The high beam would absolutely be a better bet for 'tactical' applications. (it all seems so silly, however - I have been scared before, and having this light instead of nothing WOULD be a comfort. But having the strobe function would NOT comfort me.)That's not paint, it's anodized: even taking the very strong clip off doesn't scratch the light.Packaging I thought was top notch. Anything done to improve the packaging would be superfluous. Also you get a neat little tin in the deal. People love those tins! It has a great tight seal, but not grippy.Mine came with a tiny zip lock underneath the light that had a tiny keyring, a tiny circular carabiner on a small chain (works well enough, but was as hard to get off my belt loop as it was to get on. Well built, but just too small for regular use.), a triangle lanyard ring that was open so I could emplace it (shuts easily, and holds in place; not equilateral triangle - more a tall triangle that can't change sides in the slot, which seems ideal. I didn't care for it and will probably use the key ring and a 550 lanyard), and an extra o ring. Also has instructions - easily readable, but written by someone whose primary language is not English. Oh, and the tin comes in a small cardboard sleeve. It is just garbage in the end - but I loved the fit it had and the extra step it meant for them to take on my behalf.Packaging really lends itself well to gifting; just make sure you have a battery on hand. I had to wait :-(

Handy little flashlight. Fair price
It's held up well. It's good not to need batteries. Cheaper, better for the planet, and more convenient. It doesn't seem to self-discharge when you leave it unused for a long period of time so it's okay to keep in the glove compartment.
