The World’s Worst Children 1: A book by David Walliams

My seven year old son laughed as he read this book. He even carried it in the car to read funny passages to us, when you can barely speak due to laughing it's a hit with me! Each chapter is a separate story about a humourusly awful child. Colorful pictures, well written. I am certainly purchasing other books from this author.

David Walliams is a genius and a very funny one at that !! Often compared to my favourite childhood author Roald Dahl I actually think Walliams provides a better read for todays generation of readers. Funny, sorry hilarious, sensitive, compassionate, sharp, sometimes a little naughty Walliams does it again. I urge your children to read this or you read it to your children for fun at bedtime or any time for that matter

Great book

Fun book not educational

no spoilers but this book is sooooo funny you can see these brilliants signs including this book is sooo sitnky and there is a boy that made a snot ball!!

Fantastic book. My 6 year old got it as a present and we read I together. We then bought it for our American friend who is 7 years old. humour is great for that age group and it has a very British feel to it too - hence present for our American friend!

Love love love this book. My 6 and 5 year old think it's hilarious. And so do I! Obviously really well written by the amazing David Walliams

I bought this because of the good reviews it got. Clearly, calling it a worthy successor for Roald Dahl is a huge exaggeration. The book is silly and the kids I read it to kind of liked it, but it's a rather dull read. The stories just seem a little forced to be funny.

As always David Walliams delivers, laugh out loud fun read for young and old

Great fun

My two sons (ages 5 & 6) have really enjoyed these stories each evening at bedtime. The next morning breakfast discussion is always hilarious - recounting what horrible child we read about the night before. It's (obviously) British so there is a lot of difference in language, but I like that - we stop and talk about the difference words (head teacher is a principal here etc.) Very funny book, fabulous pictures - great for when you are ready to move from picture books to longer stories but not quite ready for novel yet - there are still lots of pictures.

very interesting, my little girl loves it, we also bought 2 and 3, this is MUST have book for your young children!
