Good connectivity however it started to over heat on the first day I plugged it in. Didn't want to risk exploding in my car or anything so I returned it.

This is the second wireless CarPlay adapter for my 2020 Subaru Outback. The first did not connect to the car so I was skeptical if this second try would work. And work it did!Super simple pairing using the included easy to read instructions and within minutes it was paired and configured to my iPhone (works with series 6 and above).The adapter automatically connects wirelessly to my iPhone each time I drive the car which is a huge convenience, especially for drives when I don't need to hook up to the charging cable.Easy to hook up and invisible performance, just as advertised.

Do not buy this item i had to return it right awayFirst of all i got super super hot while it was connected to the car usb outlet and second of allYou can’t control the volume on the steering wheel or on the car stereo i was afraid the it was going to start a fire good thing i noticed and unplugged right away it’s weird that it is not specified that it will get super hot while is connected shame 😳😱

After trying out the wireless CarPlay adapter for my iPhone, I have to say it's been a surprisingly convenient addition to my daily commute. Setting it up was straightforward, and the wireless connectivity has been consistently reliable, sparing me the hassle of dealing with cables. It seamlessly integrates with my car's infotainment system, making the whole driving experience a bit smoother without any unnecessary frills.

For me, the set up was fairly simple. The instructions are clear and concise and need to be followed precisely. Connecting and reconnecting was quite seamless. However, getting another phone to connect was a bit of a challenge. Going in "blind" another user found it really challenging, could not get connected and resorted to the original cable connection. This is most likely due to that user not "forgetting" the original set up in the iPhone preferences (which is detailed in the instructions). The ding in stars is more about multiple-user functionality: it is not immediately apparent why one could not connect. So, if you want someone else to connect, make sure you are disconnected, and if it is their first time connecting to CarPlay via this adapter, that they have "forgotten" the connection.

The wireless CarPlay adapter lives up to its promise of being a plug-and-play device. Setting it up is a breeze, and you don't need any technical expertise. The setup was smooth and everything seems to be working great. There's a noticeable delay when compared to using wired Car Play or my wife's newer factory wireless one, but it was expected and isn't horrible.It's probably 1/2 a second in between navigational screens but you may not even notice. Would order again and will update if it stops working or does anything weird.
