I've been searching everywhere for a replacement for my Timneh African Grey's rope toy. I originally found it at PetSmart, but he played with it to death, and I could no longer find a toy like it. After much searching, I found this one. Ordered it, came much sooner than I expected, and my bird loves it! Perfect size for him, and it's standing up well to his preening and swinging. Highly recommend!

Too flexible
Interesting toy, just not rigid. The circle is too flexible for larger birds which causes it to deform. Better for smaller birds.

Would buy again
My Quaker parrot loves this. He is a senior bird with arthritis. This allows him to rest his feet. I bought 2, glad I did. I put one on his play stand and one is going in his sleep cage.

Nice parrot toy for the price.
Plenty of preening time to be had with this parrot rope wreath toy. Ropes are tightly knotted on a heavy gauge wire. Took one star off sturdiness because I was disappointed with the flimsy chain and clasp. Its not exactly parrot grade and Is more suited for a smaller non destructive type of bird. Luckily I keep the sturdy chains from a previously annihilated toys and am just going to replace it with one of those. I would like to mention I was impressed this toy arrived packaged in a nice white tulle bag Instead of a plastic bag. That was a nice personal touch.

Double whammy
Stood the cockatoo test and survived. It’s been knotted and unknotted a million times but provides something to chew on and work on then is soft enough to keep warm and cuddle at night...for my bird that is. 😀

BEST INVESTMENT EVER
I fell in LOVE with the design. Usually it takes my Quaker Parrott, Charlie, a few days to get use to a new toy.When this arrived and I took it out the box, it was in the CUTEST bag.I took it out, hung it up, and it only took Charlie 10 minutes to go to it!He immediately started playing with the rope and laughing.About 20 minutes after that, he figures out that he could get in the middle and swing while he played.Boy, does Charlie love his new toy.His mommy (me) is super happy too!😊I would rate above 5 if I could.

Wire bends easily
I didn't expect the wire to bend so easily. It doesn't feel sturdy at all to me. I have another rope ring (different brand) that I couldn't bend with my hands if I tried. I had expected the same quality but was disappointed.

Good— much smaller than I thought it would be. Wouldn’t have spent the money on it based on its size.

Don’t buy this toy! It is dangerous!
I find this toy dangerous! My Amazon could get her nails caught in the cotton string, or eat it, when I am not home! And would panick if she was cought if I was home. AND, couldn’t send it back! ! Or my money back! Not happy for a toy that cost $50.00!
