Book Your Next Staycation In Eternity Springs!
Reading an Emily March novel is like finally coming home after a long absence, returning to people and places that have carved out a place in my heart and will always be a part of me. This time we get Caitlin Timberlake's story, a character we've seen grow from a teenager to a self-assured, competent woman who will always be Ali and Mac's little girl, much to Caitlin's frustration. After living in New York she returns home to Eternity Springs to open a much needed daycare. She longs for a family of her own one day in the not too distant future, and she’s set her sights on Josh, much to her father's frustration.Josh Tarkington has left his home and tragic past in Oklahoma and made his new home in Eternity Springs where his foster brother resides. He’s doing his best to put his difficult childhood and unfortunate genetics behind him, but the wounds linger and the damage is deep, overshadowing every aspect of his life, especially romantic relationships. There’s no one more in need of the healing and redemption that Celeste Blessing and Eternity Springs can bring about, if he'll only open himself to it. But that also means opening his heart to Caitlin, and he swore he would never love or be responsible for another person ever again.I was fortunate to read an early copy of this book but of course I purchased it because it’s Emily March. She’s an author who is an absolute must read for me, and I get her new releases as soon as I can get my hands on them. Her books are everything that is wonderful about a small-town romance, and more. Each character is so carefully crafted, full of complexity and so realistic I feel as if I’m living along side them. The setting of Eternity Springs is so detailed, vivid and colorful, I feel like a part of the town. The storyline is always heartfelt, compelling, and emotional, with touching truths and wisdom and the perfect amount of humor sprinkled throughout. If you haven’t read Emily March, you’re really missing out, because nobody does small-town romance better! Eternity Springs is a magical place where miracles happen and hearts heal, and you’ll experience the peace and contentment it brings when you visit.*I reviewed this book freely and voluntarily, having made no commitment to provide a review and receiving no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.

The First Kiss of Spring by Emily March
The First Kiss of Spring by Emily MarchContemporary small town romance. 14th in the series. Can be read on its own. These stories are always heart fulfilling. Emily March is a master storyteller.I worried in the beginning. Here was the intro to the hero.“The hot blonde went gooey. They always did. It was one of the perks of owning a dog with a broken back.”Ok, instant turn off.But Caitlin recognized his line of BS quickly and the conversation turned genuine.Later:I felt so bad for him, trying to avoid the pain pills on his own. Would sharing have helped? Caitlin wouldn’t have left the pills in the medicine cabinet if she knew.I know he doesn’t trust doctors, but aren’t there better options every year? The supporting hand came from a surprising person. It was touching.Canned dog food Saturday. Hahaha. My sister does that with her dog too.An adorable phrase:“A flower bomb had gone off in her hallway.”Loved it. Will always prioritize Emily March and a new release. Feel good romance.I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to gift.

The season before spring.
Somehow, I skipped over this book. Emily March is one of my favorite books and I always read her books so when I realized I had not read this, I picked it up. The "first kiss of spring" brings to mind flowers, sunshine, birds chirping. Spring, to me, is rejuvenation. This is a story of Josh. Josh was in the winter of his life. It was a cold, dark, inhibiting place. It is a story of going from the winter, where things are not as warm and stepping into spring and finding the joy of renewal and rebirth...and love. It is a great book.

Always Good
Emily March has done it again with the “First Kiss Of Spring” this book continues the rich tradition of great storytelling that has been established in the Eternity Spring series. Caitlin Timberlake is all grown up and her story of falling in love with Josh Tarkington does not disappoint. The characters are well developed and once again we as reader and listeners are invited to take part in their journey to their happily ever after as they face life challenges.Favorite characters has been revisited without overshadowing Caitlin and Josh. It is always nice to caught up with old favorites.Amy Landon has once again brought these characters to life through her excellent portrayal. If you are looking for a page turning read or a good audiobook I recommend “The First Kiss Of Spring”, Emily March is true to form and this series of books is always good.

So happy when Eternity Springs comes alive
Is there anything Emily March writes that isn’t wonderful? Not in my book, and this latest edition of Eternity Springs is every bit as good as all the others. Caitlin Timberlake, daughter of Mac and Ali Timberlake, meets a cute guy in Telluride while at a wedding. He is a mechanic from Eternity Springs, (or is he?). Caitlin falls for him, he doesn’t believe he can have a successful relationship and of course, Josh and Caitlin fall for each other! But love never travels in a straight line. Ms. March weaves a story with heart and emotion that is so real. I have said before, and will say again, I wish I lived in Eternity Springs. If you like small town romances, with a lot of heart, this is the book ( and series ) for you.
