Very sturdy bracket, easy to install

These are great tube clamps. I used them to mount auxiliary lights on my 2013 Honda NC700X motorcycle. These are much lower profile than other tube clamp options, and match the aesthetic of aux lights. The paint seems very durable. I am not sure if it is powder coated or just painted, but it looks really strong and none of the paint was chipping off like it has on similar products I have ordered in the past.The silicone inserts ensure a tight fit that will not slip or rotate, and protect the tube from scratches. The item comes with a thick and thin insert, and a clearly printed diagram of which inserts to use depending on the size of the tube. (For larger or smaller tubes, there are different item SKUs on Amazon).The item only loses one star in the review because, as other reviewers have pointed out, the tiny M4 threads in the soft aluminum strip easily. I had one out of the four bolts strip out. This is easily fixed by picking up an M4 nut from the hardware store to screw on to the other side. Overall, I'm happy with how my project turned out!

Used these to lock-up my 2-piece carbon fiber kayak paddle while leaving my yak upstream- one for each side of paddle when separated, then lock the two together pieces of this together back-to-back (and to a chain) through the predrilled hole in each with a traditional padlock. Actually, I never unlock the padlovk.. I just loosen the hex bolts and slip these off the ends of the paddles, and then when done paddle slip them back ln and re-tighten hex bolts. Highly recommend getting a dedicated hex driver for this; found one on Amazon for 5 buck that's about 6 inches long that's perfect. Homeless usually do not have hex tools, and when they see they're padlocked together will just leave ur paddles alone. This is a non-intended us for this product, but it works & much cheaper than any paddle locks I've seen and saves u from drilling a hole in the fins of ur paddles to run a thin cable through them. This is much better, and just relies on the pressure of the clamping effect of this product on the end of ur paddle when tightened. Be sure to measure the diameter of ur paddle to get the right size!

These products worked great and the design is excellent. They appear very strong and are made out of aluminum alloy so hopefully they are the strongest part of my set up.I used them to attach round Yakama bars to my SUV roof rack. I attached Yakama universal Mighty Mounts to the SUV roof rack and attached these to the Mighty Mounts. These held my round bars very securely. I think the weak link in this setup is my Subaru Factory supplied roof racks. Everything including these clamps are well designed and vey sturdy.

I puchased this mount so that I could install a tusk flag mount on my recumbent trike. There was no feasible mounting location on the trike, so I installed this mount on my trike frame. In order to installed the tusk flag mount bolt I had to drill the hold a little larger. I used a titamium drill bit and a 3/8” variable speed drill. The aluminum drilled well, and I was able to enlarge the hole easily. The finished was not marred at all by the drilling.I used the gasket supplied with the mount, but found the mount would rotate when I road over rough roads. Using the advise of another reviewer, I cut a piece from an o,d bike tire tube, and wrapped it around my bike frame, and re-installed this mount over the bike tube piece. My mount has not budged at all! The mount works well, and looks great!

When I purchased these brackets I intended on using them to mount UTV Whips to my side by side. First, the silicone that the company sends doesn’t work. It creates a slippery surface that spins on plastic. I added a rubber gasket that had more grip.When installing the second bracket I found that it was stripped and I was unable to tighten around the roll bar. I had to re-drill and use a bigger screw with a nut to tighten the bracket. I also had to drill a bigger hole so that the whip spring mounts would fit. The spring mount was somewhat expected when I purchased these brackets and was no fault to the product.The reason why I am only giving this product low stars is because of all the modifications I had to do that should not have been necessary if it were a quality product. The bracket tightening mechanism should not have been stripped upon arrival and the silicone was a joke. I didn’t have time to wait for replacements and made my own modifications, however I will be replacing with stronger brackets.If you are looking for a bracket that has to hold any substantial weight I would pass on this brand. The steel is so soft I feel they are going to bend out on the trail or over time. The price does not justify a one time use for me. The only thing that is good about this product is the slide in lock install. Other than that this product is junk.

I order quantity of 1 total 2 clamps as a pair as advertised and took them forever to ship and get here ... the most disappointing part was the items wer not all there... 1 single 1.25in clamp was shipped... wer is the other match to it ? Am I suppose to install 1 light bar and throw the other light bar away ??!! As far as quality goes I haven't gotten that far yet will definitely give a shot but rest assure I will not hesitate to share what's on my mind. G/s power products need to get ur stuff together....Update: so got them installed and they work great... I order 2in and 1.25in and they fit very snug for my applications however I never did get my other 1.25in clamp to match the only 1.25in clamp I have a bit disappointed 😔... I rate 5stars just because how well they fit on my 2017 Yamaha Viking with the 2in and the only one on my 08 Yamaha grizzly with 1.25in ...
