Conventional dry finings are difficult to mix and take a day to prepare, whereas CIDER CLEAR is ready for use within 15 minutes. INSTRUCTIONS Empty the sachet contents into half a cup of cold water and whisk with a fork for at least 1 minute to thoroughly mix. Cover the cup and leave for 15 minutes, then whisk again. The finings are now ready for use, see below Barrelling: Add the made up mixture direct to the barrel and stir. Bottling: Add this made up mixture to the fermenting bucket (preferably the day before bottling) and gently stir the surface, leave for at least 6 hours for the finings to disperse. Alternatively, if you have a second fermenter, syphon the beer into that, add the made up finings and stir thoroughly to mix.
