Dostmann Wireless weather station View, 35.1142.01, incl 3x thermo hygrometer transmitters, for indoor and outdoor, weather forecast, black

Had one for a couple of years and was so happy with it that I bought on for relative at xmas.

I bought this instrument without the benefit of previous reviews so was working somewhat in the dark.Setting up requires oodles of the above; allocate at least two hours without distractions. The manual is comprehensive, well-laid out and must be paid strict attention otherwise wheels start coming off.Note the following in particular:1) The adjusting keys on the rear are not easy; not the best of German engineering.2) The screen contrast is not good; there is no back-light.3) There are three font sizes. That of the pressure is much too small; there is sufficient screen to enlarge it.4) The date format of DD/MM/YYYY is difficult to read; DD/MM/YY would be better; no-one needs reminding that we are in the 21st century.5) The time/date settings are take from the clock in Frankfurt (and not Cumbria which is the norm in the UK) so that the time zone of -1 needs to be set for the UK. This is easily missed and can cause not a little frustration.6) Linking the transmitters to the main unit can be problematic; look for the symbol between temperature and humidity without which they will not function.7) The transmitters do not show their temperature/humidity readings so all detail has to be taken from the base station.8) The three transmitters are all but unique and most useful.All that said, this is or seems to be an excellent unit replacing my old and battered Oregon. At this price, has to be considered good value for money. Bravo Amazon (again)!REVIEWHaving had the instrument for a few weeks, it developed a fault on the outside sensor which was not recording any details; whether this was weather related, I am unsure. Returned for refund which was credited promptly. Another problem was associated with the clock/calendar. As the atomic clock to which this German system is linked in in Frankfurt, it failed to connect nightly on a number of occasions despite all precautions having been taken. On two other occasions, it also recorded the wrong year, once 2021 and another 2023! Presumably, these problems would not have occurred if tuned into the frequency of that at of the UK in Cumbria. Whether a UK version is available is in some doubt.

Mit diesem Gerät habe ich das gesucht was ich brauchte: Eine kleine, kompakte Wetterstation, mit der ich hauptsächlich die Temperatur im Haus, vor dem Haus und hinter dem Haus im Blick habe. Beim dritten Funksensor muss ich noch sehen, wo ich den parke ... möglicherweise immer mal wieder woanders.Zur Genauigkeit kann ich nichts sagen, aber die angezeigten Werte für Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit stimmen mit der Anzeige von anderen Geräten im wesentlichen überein. Auf ein paar Prozent Abweichung kommt es mir sowieso nicht an.Einzige Kritikpunkte (aber ohne Punktabzug): Für die rückwärtigen Aufhängeösen der Funksensoren braucht man Schrauben mit einem SEHR kleinen Kopf - zum Glück hatte ich noch welche. Und die Funksensoren selber haben kein Display - das ist aber zu verschmerzen, zumal ich das Teil zu einem sehr günstigen Gebrauchtpreis bekommen habe.

Afwijking tussen hoofdunit en externe sensoren ligt tussen de 0,9 en 1,2 graden…. Klopt dus niets van… wat is de juiste temperatuur?? Deze gaat terug… ik dacht dat TFA Dostmann de ‘betere’ weerstations maakt, maar dat blijkt helaas niet zo te zijn…

Los sensores tienen bastante alcance y la medidas son bastante precisas, incluida la humedad

BonjourCette station est ce que je recherchais. Je n'ai pas besoin de l'hygrométrie mais je profite de cette indication.Je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles car les boutons de réglages et d'affichage des mini-maxi se trouvent derrière l'appareil.Lorsque la station est accrochée au mur, on est obligé de la décrocher pour voir les mini et maxi.Cordialement
