pretty good if you’re happy with square wave
I mainly wanted this controller to experiment with the 3 speed settings to test out top speed versus my modded 45A & UKC1 kit on 52v battery but now I’m actually gonna be leaving it on for a little while. Top speed - I was getting 35mph or so on my modded one, which was decent and I was happy enough but this controller does manage to push speed up to levels I’m not used to. Quickest I’ve managed testing this today was 40 but I’ve not hit the top speed at this point as it was dark out and the track had a lot of rabbits around and I didn’t want to risk myself or the rabbits by pushing it more. RPM wise, it spins unloaded at the same speed as my other on 100% mode but when blue and black wires of the 3 speed are connected, it’s quicker by a decent margin. In regards to sound - I’m very much not used to the square wave controllers anymore, they are quite loud when you’re used to sine wave but just sounds like a mini surron in a way. The vibrations of the motor resonate through the frame and in particular any loose bits on the bike. This does increase the overall sound greatly. Acceleration is a little lacklustre thanks to the ramp up speed rather than instant torque but once it’s fully ramped up the torque, it’s quick. Mine did come with a little piece of paper with the wire diagram and although the controller wasn’t the same as pictured on the diagram, all wires are the same and matched functions. It’s a little too big!! Be aware of this as if you don’t have the frame space you may struggle to fit it on. To sum up, this does everything I was expecting it to do and as an added bonus, it doesn’t get hot under heavy use thanks to the size of it. I genuinely don’t see any reason to give this anything but 5 stars as it’s really cost effective and does have a good amount of power. Some may disagree with this but my main controller cost £150 so this is kinda pennies in comparison.

Doesn't work
Went out for the first ride with it (it was raining lightly) and it stopped working within 10 minutes so I walked back home to see what went wrong and I could see water dripping out of the controller and I never got it to go again. Not being waterproof is a huge flaw for something that is meant to be outside. Wouldn't ever buy again!

Wires
There are no labels on some of the wires . The labels on the others are all in Chinese. Iver more labels needed or a piece of paper with the pin out be more helpful even just a photo with the layout on here be more helpful

Be aware
Ok for the price it's worth it but it's not a true 72v controller it's got 80v caps which will probably blow with a fully charged 72v

Do not buy
This comes labelled all in Chinese, a little photo guide card to identify the connections, no pin outs so have fun with short circuits. Avoid!

Blew up
It says 84v, yet only 80v capacitors, it was really good with my 48v, instantly blew and melted a capacitor with a fully charged 72v
